Sarasota Home in the Gulf gate neighborhood 5 minutes from the beach

Great little beach house within walking distance to shopping and 5 minutes from Siesta Key Beach. Quiet neighborhood, great for biking, walking, etc. Great home with 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, full kitchen, fenced backyard, close to shopping and the beach. SIESTA Key Village is 10 minutes from house. St Armand s circle and the Ringling Museum all within 20 minute drive. If you are looking for beautiful sunsets and nice weather this is the place to be.

Great experience

We had an enjoyable stay in this nicely decorated and very clean cottage in a quiet neighborhood. While it was only a 5-minute drive to Siesta Key, it was not feasible to walk or bike there. The host was exceptionally available with communication. There were, also, some added perks, such as snacks, water, beach chairs, and bikes for guests to use!

Did what we needed it to do

It was a good property for what we needed it was clean, The heating and air conditioning worked, comfortable beds, functional appliances, a nice welcome basket, a guide to the area with suggestions. We did not stick around at the property we were moving a lot.

Older than I expected

When I look back at the pictures, most were fairly accurate but on of the bathrooms is not as pictured. Another bath had a shower and toilet but no sink. Porch was filthy, yard was in disrepair. Floor in kitchen was scurried and very old. Rugs were dirty. TV in living room did not work. Overall is was old with very few upgrades.

We enjoyed our stay at Gulf Gate Estates. The house was clean and very inviting. I recommend it.

My experience with this Vrbo property was my first experience and a good one. The communication was excellent and my questions were answered in minutes. I highly recommend this property.

Clean and great location in nice neighborhood

This home was very clean and everything you need is there. The neighborhood is quiet and in a great location. We had no problems or issues. We enjoyed the bicycles and also walked around the neighborhood. The back porch was very relaxing and we throughly enjoyed the escape to warmer weather. Communication with the owner was prompt. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a home setting in a quiet neighborhood. Also, the fenced back yard is a nice addition to our stay, the trees are beautiful and the squirrels where very entertaining.

Home Away From Home

Amazing experience! We discovered this place when looking for somewhere to stay when my MIL passed. We felt at home and comfortable. It was a great place for the cousins to congregate (the welcome basket didn’t stand a chance with hungry teens). The beach chairs, boards, and towels were a wonderful addition that added an escape. Tawnilynn’s home was bright, clean, and everything well thought out – she is an amazing and very responsive host. My only disappointment
.we didn’t discover this place before! We definitely want to reserve this home again!

Wonderful place to stay

We cannot say enough about our stay at Tawnilynn's property. From the moment we booked until we checked out, we were impressed. When we had a question, Tawnilynn was extremely quick to respond. She truly thinks of all the little details-- and then some-- that made our stay so comfortable. We loved the snacks, the toiletries and the fun beach toys. We felt very comfortable and "at home" during our stay. We encountered friendly neighbors, and the home is close to shopping and restaurants and a short ride to the beaches. We can't wait to come back and we would love to stay at the home again.

Nice home in a great location

This is a very nice property located in a safe neighborhood that is also very close to Siesta Key beaches, shopping, and outdoor activities like bike riding on the Legacy Trail. We had a bumpy check-in due to a mechanical issue but the owner was very nice and fixed the issue quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean and great for a Siesta Key vacation

House is clean, in very quiet nice neighborhood. The 2 bikes were a great add, as was the snacks upon arrival and the beach toys! Less that 5 miles to the beach, but traffic can be busy if you head to beach after 11a.m.

Spring Training Trip

Very nice and clean upon arrival. Perfect location to Siesta Key beach and numerous other places in Sarasota. Owner had house well stocked with toiletries, full furnished kitchen, and even a basket with snacks and bottled water. Would/will definitely stay again if / when back in Sarasota.

Lovely home in great neighborhood

The welcome basket of snacks was a nice surprise. We appreciated the beach toys and chairs. All the comforts of home away from home. My only suggestion would be to add a hair dryer as most accommodations provide them today. We found the short commute to Siesta Key convenient. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
