Beautiful Lake View, Newly-Remodeled Home~Contemporary,


Beautifully remodeled, spacious home, with modern furnishing and well-kept property. The bathroom has a full tub and shower with a blow dryer and towels.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, a new refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffee pot, and toaster. This one-bedroom unit has it's own private access, a space of it's own in a huge house. This has a stunning view of the river and is located just over a mile from beautiful Douglas and 2 miles from Saugatuck.

If you're adventurous, you are just under a mile from Mount Baldhead Park where you can challenge yourself to 282 steps to enjoy the gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. If you continue your journey you can relish the fabulous Oval Beach which is in the top 10 beaches in the U.S.. Live it up in downtown Saugatuck with all the great shopping and so many fabulous restaurants to choose from.

This unit represents 1 bedroom with a full bathroom, kitchen, living room and spacious deck.

Nice but not walker friendly. Lots to do nearby.

The apartment was nice but the furniture was not very comfortable. There were no sidewalks. Not a place to stay if you want to hang out in the room or walk around the neighborhood but great things to do nearby with a short drive. The first time using vrbo and I don' prefer it but it does work I guess. We had no problems once we understood how it worked. If you want to cook you may want to bring your own groceries. The one little store we found in Douglas was overpriced. Cranes bakery is a short drive and worth it for a great breakfast.

Great getaway!

This was such a fun stay and Denise was a great host! If you’re going to spend time in the Douglas/Saugatuck area and don’t want to drive, check out the Interurban shuttle. They picked us up/dropped us off at the property so we could spend the evening in Saugatuck. The beach, hiking trails, shopping, dining and drinks are so close. This place has great proximity to everything.

We were in the basement unit which is super cute and mostly clean (dropped my pillow on the floor the first night and came up with hair ball’s and dust bunnies); the unit could really use a dehumidifier. Otherwise it was perfect!

great location

This is in a great location. Cute space with everything you need.Parking is very tight and is not easily marked. It was very crowded when we were there and there was a car parked in the spot that we thought was assigned to us, after talking to the host, we were told two cars were to park there (which would have left very little room for other cars to enter and exit safely). The laundry room is a shared room between two lower apartments. All units were full the first couple days we were there, after they left we wanted to do some laundry, but, both washer and dryer were full of the bedding and towels from the other spaces. In order to do my laundry we had to fold, and then dry their items first.One family had three small kids who were constantly running around above us, which was very loud.Other than those issues, we enjoyed our stay. The outdoor patio was nice, but it is a shared space with the other apartment on the main floor.

Very comfortable property.

Our time at the facility was spent mostly in the evening and it was very relaxing. Our last evening was a bit marred as a horrific thunder storm passed through with threats of tornados and 75 mile an hour winds and hail The power was knocked out through the rest of stay and we had no flashlights etc. No injuries or damages to us but much damage in the surrounding area. Overall, a great stay.

Birthday Getaway

The space was exactly as I envisioned! Everything I expected. The first night was perfect weather to use the fire pit. Spent mornings with coffee overlooking the water at the outside table and chairs. The living room couch was very comfortable as was the queen size bed!! Loved the breeze flowing in through the patio door screen. We were extremely comfortable. I will definitely stay again if I’m in the area.
