Tucked away on a quiet street just a short walk from downtown Saugatuck, Hidden Haven offers the rare combination of peaceful seclusion and easy access to town. From the moment you arrive, this charming property feels like a secret escape—one where every outdoor space invites you to slow down and savor the moment.

The fenced-in yard is a true highlight, thoughtfully landscaped and accented with whimsical custom artwork, flowering vines, and soft fairy lights that glow as evening falls. It feels like a private garden sanctuary, perfect for relaxing, reconnecting, and enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.

A standout feature of the property is the detached screened-in porch, a 200-square-foot retreat designed for lingering. With a large dining table, comfortable lounge seating, and a ceiling fan, this space is ideal for morning coffee, card games, shared meals, or curling up with a book while listening to the breeze—rain or shine.

The spacious back patio is equally inviting, offering Adirondack-style chairs, a small dining table with a patio umbrella, and a grill for casual afternoon barbecues. Sleeping accommodations are well planned for comfort and privacy. Two queen bedrooms on the south end of the home offer peaceful retreats, each with closet space and luggage racks. The third bedroom on the north end features a pyramid bunk, an ensuite half bathroom, and laundry. A full bathroom with a custom tile walk-in shower is also conveniently located on this side of the home.

When you're ready to explore, downtown Saugatuck is less than half a mile away. Walk to local favorites for dining, cocktails, coffee, ice cream, shopping, and art galleries, or visit the Saugatuck Center for the Arts for exhibits and live performances. We enjoyed staying at the Hidden Haven! Super cute and close to all the shops and restaurants! very clean and check in process was so easy the host checked on us several times to see if we needed anything!

Haven House was wonderful!

We planned to stay in Saugatuck for the weekend, but there was a gas outage and the property owners quickly found us another stay in the area and Haven House was perfect. The bed was comfy, house and amenities were top knotch and very close to downtown!

Girls Trip

The property was beautiful and tranquil. The cottage was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Very quiet and secluded great neighborhood and very close to shopping and restaurant. Loved Oval Beach, and sunsets were amazing. Would definitely stay there again!

Private retreat around the corner to all

What a perfect property to get away from reality and let go. This charming house is secluded and quiet, but we were able to walk into town several times when we decided we wanted to interact with others. The hot tub was the icing on the cake of this beautiful location. We hope to visit again!

Super charming Cottage

It was a perfect stay, from booking with Millpond to check out. We found the communication outstanding -very friendly and professional- and the house extremely charming and comfortable. Nothing was missing, and the separate covered dining room in the beautiful backyard, surrounded by lushing plants and flowers, was definitely a plus. We'll book again for sure!

Adorable and fully stocked

What an adorable house. It was fully stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of towels! And hooks to hang wet clothes! We came for the hot tub, but I think our favorite feature was the screened-in porch. We sat in there during a thunderstorm and it was so relaxing.

Extraordinary weekend at Hidden Haven

For the last three summers my daughters and I have rented a place in Saugatuck and have found this little gem a most extraordinary place to stay. The interior is delightfully furnished and has everything you need and even more and is a short walking distance to town. We enjoyed the gorgeous garden, guest house, and hot tub each day we were there. Would definitely rent it again.

Eclectic Retreat

Where do I start….Darling house. So well done. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable, hot tub was just what we needed after a long drive. The best part was the screened porch and grounds. Everywhere you looked there was something ornamental to see in the yard. I could have spent our entire stay on the screened porch. Plenty of comfortable furniture. And a large table for games or meals. Would love to come back and spend more time.
