Getting There

As with many cabins in the North Georgia mountains, Whispering Creek Cabin is located on a gravel mountain road. The road is well maintained and 4-wheel drive is not required to reach the cabin, but guests should expect typical mountain terrain while traveling to the property.

Most standard vehicles can access the cabin without any issues, and the scenic drive through the mountains is part of the experience!

Our third trip to Whispering Creek cabin and so far the best. Only 2 catches. First the shower head broke while my wife was in the shower. Sent a message to our contact and they sent a repair person. Unfortunately we were out but they did leave a new shower head. Two or three minutes and I had it on and all was fine. The only other issue is the toilet in the master bathroom ( the one on the right) needs to be looked at. It leaks down and refills one to two times per minute. Looked at the flaps inside the tank but saw nothing wrong but they have to be the issue as there is nothing else in the tank that could cause this issue. Also on the same toilet when it's flushed somehow air or gas is building up on the back of the bowl making it "burp" when flushed. Other than those two minor issues everything was great. While we were in Helen we looked at several other cabins and nothing comes close to Whispering Creek for privacy and comfort ! Thank you for allowing us to rent the cabin another year and if all goes well we will be doing this again next year at the same time ! Thanks again !!

We did not use the indoor fireplace or hot tub, but the house was clean and neat, the kitchen well stocked with the necessary dishes, glasses, etc, and we thoroughly enjoyed using the deck and fire pit area. If in the area again, I would definitely choose this property.

The pictures should be updated, they don't match the colors of the exterior. The commode in the bathroom with the shower needs the flush valve replaced. The water drains down and every few minutes the water comes on to refill the tank. The directions from gps doesn't match the directions, that where given to us.

Cabin was nestled in the mountain with wooded view. There were other cabins near but not on top of you. It was peaceful and serene. Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit due to unseasonably warm weather. The cabin was clean and very cozy. We loved our stay. The roads to the cabin were dirt and a little rough but that just added to feeling of seclusion. Would definitely stay here again loved that upon entering the cabin on Christmas Eve there was Christmas music playing on the tv

Really nice cabin, exactly what we needed for two couples. Both bedrooms had their own bathroom and king size bed. It's an excellent property and an excellent stay, there were no negatives. Helen was decorated for Christmas and we enjoyed a few hikes in the area to include Anna Ruby Falls and Brasstown Bald.

The cabin was the perfect size! The backyard is beautiful, and the location is just far enough from Helen to not deal with heavy traffic. It was too windy to use the outdoor fire pit, but the fireplace was nice.

The cabin and its amenities are first class. There's nothing that wasn't thought of including furnishings, appliances, and utensils. Everything is top grade. The hot tub is so relaxing & the gazebo & fire ring are a nice amenity as well. Best of all, for us, is the location by the creek. Of the other cabins in our area, ours had the best location. We will definitely stay here again.

We only had a chance to get into hot top once but that one time was great. The house was clean inside but had a musty smell to it and you could feel the humidity. We probably should have opened the windows and doors but didn’t think of it. The outside of the cabin could use a little attention. There was a lot of spider webs. The location was great for our trip.

A lovely cabin.

This was a great place to stay. Both bedrooms had bathrooms. Is well appointed. We were disappointed we didn't do a campfire. The only thing I found lacking was the light in the kitchen. Other than that it was an awesome stay.

Perfect Tranquility

The cabin layout was perfect for a couple and one adult guest. The bedrooms are on opposite ends of the cabin, providing privacy. Everything was clean,(there were spiderwebs on the back deck and in the gazebo) we enjoyed using the hot tub and the firing as well.There is a diner right down the road beside a gas station, lending to convenience.The cabins decor is very cute as well.

Very charming and comfortable stay! Hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. The town of Helen is adorable and you should stay at this cabin if you are visiting the area or just passing through.

Wonderful Home Away From Home

We loved the feel of being in the woods with all the modern conveniences. The back porch area was lovely and despite some rain we loved being there in the hot tub and just enjoying the gorgeous back yard. The little creek and fire pit area made for a perfect time!
