Wonderful, cozy cabin located in the beautiful and scenic mountains of Tennessee directly adjacent to GSMNP. It offers a master suite with king size bed & walk in shower. The second bedroom upstairs has two twin beds, a full bath, & a small observation deck.

Key Features:
- Main Floor: Master suite with a comfortable king-size bed and a modern en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.
- Upstairs: A second bedroom with two twin beds, a full bathroom with a shower/tub combination, and a small observation deck for quiet moments.
- Living Area: A warm, wood-paneled living space with a stone fireplace, perfect for relaxing.
- Entertainment: An arcade table featuring over 50 retro classics like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, high-speed Wi-Fi, and smart TVs ready for your streaming accounts (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.).
- Kitchen: A full kitchen equipped for all your culinary needs, including both drip and K-cup style coffee makers.
- Outdoor Living: A private hot tub on the covered deck and a charcoal grill for cookouts (please bring your own charcoal).
- Convenience: A washer and dryer are available for your use.
- Location: The cabin is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a small neighborhood of other cabins. Beary Sweet Retreat is located in the mountains, with the last 1/2 mile being a fairly steep & winding, but well maintained asphalt road. A four wheel drive vehicle may be required during snowy weather, so please plan accordingly.

Our cabin backs up to the GSMNP and is only minutes away from the laid back town of Townsend, the entertainment of Pigeon Forge, the antiques & artisans of Wears Valley, and the quaint shops of Gatlinburg. If you plan on spending time in the park, the Wear Cove Gap entrance to GSMNP is only 1-1/2 miles away!

Cell Phone Coverage: Most of the major cell carriers have good coverage in the area of the cabin, but no coverage once you are inside the park.

This rental property did not disappoint! Everything was exactly as described including pictures. Nice surprise with tasteful holiday decorations throughout the property during our Thanksgiving stay. Location was ideal for easy access into the park. Loved having hot tub directly on the back porch with private view of mountain. Ideal property for couples or family of 4 with older children.

Loved the setting, and the beauty and comfort of the interior. A luxury cabin! End-of-road location offers woodsy surroundings and privacy. Host communication always quick and friendly. (Only glitch was hard-to-use hot tub controls.)

We had a great stay. The host was very accessible. The cabin is very clean and up to date. It backs right up to the National Park, so bear activity is a given. We saw several and one passed right by the front porch. Very quaint, quiet neighborhood.When dining out, Elvira’s is a must along with Sloppy Hog’s. We will be back for another stay.

Beautiful cabin in the best location! We had the best time. Right by the entrance to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park, in particular the Metcalf bottoms. The cabin had everything we needed. The master bedroom mattress was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept on. My morning coffee time on the porch swing made the trip. We even got to see a mama bear and her two cubs. My kids (and husband) now want an arcade table for home, haha. The hosts were fabulous and even checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Cabin in the woods

My son wanted a “cabin in the woods” and found this home on VRBO‘s website. It was everything we hoped for and more. I have stayed at many vacation rental homes, and I would describe our stay here as flawless. The descriptions on the website are accurate and if anything understated. We loved everything about our stay.
