The road up to the cabin is very STEEP. The access road to this cabin is paved but does have an incline. At times, it narrows to one lane. It's about 0.5 Mile of steepness. This cabin is not for the less adventurous type. If you want flat roads, this is not for you. If you like to be near the park with a breathtaking view and hike nearby, look no further!
Motorcycles and trailers are not recommended. 4-wheel drive is recommended for adverse winter conditions. No refunds for weather or driving issues.
*TRAVEL INSURANCE HIGHLY ADVISED* - there will be no refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/personal matters/other things that are beyond our control - please protect your trip by purchasing Travel Insurance.
The hot tub is for guests 21 and over only. Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub. You are not permitted to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or are pregnant. Children are allowed in the hot tub only when accompanied by a parent or guardian and must be supervised at all times. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK!!
Depending on the Local Laws and if there is a Burn Ban imposed on any day by the local government, The outdoor firepit Will be shut down till the Burn Ban is lifted - it's an area standard!
Pets are not allowed, including emotional support animals. You will be charged $500 if you bring a pet.
No late check-out or early check-in. If a guest does not vacate the property by 10 AM on their scheduled day of departure, the fee for failing to vacate is $50.00 for the first half hour and $100.00 for each subsequent half hour that the guest fails to vacate the property.
Our cleaners provide starter sets of single-use shampoo and bar soap, sponge, dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent packet, 1 roll of paper towels, small liquid dish soap, and 2 rolls of toilet paper per full bathroom. You may want to bring extra of these depending upon your length of stay.
We do not provide firewood for the firepit and Charcoal for the grill. It is sold at several locations close to the cabin. We would recommend that you bring fire starter logs. It makes everything easier.
PLEASE NOTE: Fall/Winter is Ladybugs, Stink Bugs, and in the summer Palmetto Bugs season. These little guys in the Smokies are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabin, and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that our cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned before and after your stay, including bug removal. However, these bugs come back right away, and unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes.
