Review Sherman villa We arrived to children screamed because of bugs inside the house. After investigation we discovered they were Japanese camel crickets. They have terrorized us the entire visit, kids found them in their bed and scared to sleep. The pool is green, looks like it’s been neglected and the pump is not on. The hot tub was cooler than the house when we arrived. The house was about 85 and took forever to cool off. The hot tub was 70! There was storm hit before we came to stay and the string of lights were busted all over the back yard! Then the caretaker mowed over that area before the glass was picked up! Again effecting the kids, not able to run around outside for fear of glass cutting them.! The grill lid is broken, and the kitchen is lacking utensils. Fire ants all over the yard, by the pool and the driveway had big mounds of them. The trash cans at the end of the driveway were over full when we got there and there was no other place to throw our trash when we were there. The price was way over inflated for Memorial Day weekend. Definitely not worth the price considering all the trouble we had with our stay. Very disappointing!

Our wedding weekend in Sherman

First time booking with Evolve. I did not realize this until after booking with VRBO. We had some interesting things that we happen that we had not had with other rentals. Our contact AJ was prompt in answering concerns but suggested any problems were due to owners inexperience with rental. I will start by saying the property has much potentential at being a 5 star property. The rooms were spacious and plentiful. 6 br, 4.5 baths, nice pool area and hot tub. When we arrived we brought hamburgers to grill on outdoor grill, and planned to pick up any other supplies in town the next day. We had breakfast items but thought there would be coffee. That is always an item I find available in places I have stayed. Not only was there no coffee but the grill was missing a battery in the auto start. We searched for a lighter but found none. Since we had 12 hungry people and little knowledge of the area I called AJ the caretaker who brought a lighter within 5 minutes. We got the burgers going and before they were quite done enough the propane ran out. There was another tank but it was empty. AJ had assured me that both tanks were full but they were totally empty so we finished cooking on the electric stove inside-very slowly. Some BR closets were locked but no hooks available for hanging clothes. We stayed in master BR and floor in bath area was very dirty around baseboards. No trash can in bath area, Outlet in other downstairs br not working,The teens had fun playing ping pong
