Villa Torre Among the Hills of Siena

Ancient country tower in the heart of an organic Chianti wine estate, the villa offers 5 air-conditioned bedrooms for 10 guests. From the private pool (open May–October), you can admire rolling hills and Siena’s medieval towers.



The property features a large patio for outdoor dining, ping pong table, Wi-Fi, and free parking. Just 15 minutes from Siena’s historic center, the villa lets you experience authentic Chianti style in a timeless setting.



Built in 1760, it retains original features while offering modern comforts. The park, gardens, vineyards, and old greenhouse have been managed by the same family for ten generations.



On request: wine tastings, photo shoots, cooking classes, massages, car or bike rental, custom tours, and weddings. Some services are available for an extra fee. One dog allowed on request. Heating available for an extra fee.

The Montechiaro Estate, located in the Municipality of Siena about 10 km from the city of the Palio, covers 160 hectares of land, of which 10 are dedicated to vineyards surrounded by 2,000 olive trees, while the rest is used for arable crops. The beautiful farmhouses of the estate are rented out during the summer season.



Situated on a panoramic hill between the Arbia river to the east and the Bozzone stream to the west, Montechiaro was one of the “comunelli delle Masse,” administered by a podestà as early as 1271. A century later, the tower still visible near the villa was built.



Of the ancient fortified parish, once belonging to the canons of the Cathedral, little remains today: “Now, however, if you look at Vico D’Arbia, that place is no longer like a fortress; only a few houses, mostly of modern construction, surround the church. The fortress of Montechiaro is nothing but the aforementioned villa.”
