The back door to the motel was broken so one didn't need a room key to get in. that means anyone could just walk in. For this reason, I didn't feel exactly safe. My toilet was very weak! The front desk clerk provided excellent service and brought a refrigerator to my room. The microwave door and knob were dirty. I kept washing my hands. Everything else was clean.

The only good thing about this motel was the water pressure and the staff. The problems are too numerous to list. Read the reviews and take the negative comments to heart. I am a frequent Motel 6 user and this one definitely needs work and deep cleaned. Manager said they are working on it but the room we were moved to was only slightly better. And yes we found roaches. Pet area is full of goats head burns.

When I booked this hotel, I took in the response from the reviews and it seemed like there were a lot of mixed reviews for more positive so I took that of consideration when booking upon arrival, it was another story. It took longer to check in considering it was about 1:30 in the morning. And then it took an additional time to get our car key to our room. Upon getting in our room, there was no blankets no towels, no tissue. And no one remote control to the TV. Considering how late it was, we just went to sleep. We had our own blankets so that helped we didn’t even bother sleeping in the sheets. The next morning, we didn’t even bother trying to take a shower or even trying to go get towels. We just got up and got ready and left the hotel. We have never experienced anything like this by far. One of the worst hotels we ever stayed at.

Of all the Motel 6 i've stayed in, this was by far the worse. I will never stay in another. No room key card available, floors sticky, bathroom ceiling looked like it wS going to fall down, people loudly talking in lobby and hallways all night long.

We are a business in Albuquerque, NM and we sent a crew down to Silver City for a large project. The overall condition of the property was deplorable. How this can even be called a Motel 6 is beyond comprehension, as it is well beneath brand standard for the franchise. The property is dirty and disheveled. Homeless people had overrun a few of the rooms, with or without management's knowledge and were living there in very poor conditions. Most concerning, the property is infested with German Roaches; amongst the hardest to get rid of, and prone to spreading diseases like dysentery, salmonella, and e. coli. In the morning, the crew was so disgusted they decided to check out early. Although the crew left well before 11 (they were at their work site at 7am), the motel did not process their cancellation until after 11am, thereby charging us for Sunday night even though no one was there!! They only refunded us for Monday night. Given the embarrassing conditions, we should have been refunded the entire stay in full. We have photos and time stamped texts to prove this entire experience. For the public's own health and safety, this place should be condemned and Hotels.com should not promote this property any further.

Bed was super comfortable but the frames don't hold the mattress in place (flat platforms). Definitely in need of updates. Broken tiles and thresholds in the bathroom, and one of the outer doors doesn't shut. Room door also required a good tug to get it closed from the outside.

The good:The staff was friendly and helpful, that’s why the 1star. The bed was decent as well. The bad: I found and euthanized 3 cockroaches, 2 in bathroom and 1 inside the microwave? The toilet was plugged and the tv was removed from the wall mount and was lying on the table. The shower mixing valve was broken, severely dropping shower pressure.

Check in and staff were great. Walked into the room and COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE!! EVEN ON THE BEDS AND IN THE TUB. We turned around and reported it to the front desk. One of the employees went back into the room with me. On our way she saw a big one in the hallway, when we got back to the room all the big ones were gone but there were still a bunch of little ones everywhere.w We requested our money back and went to another Motel.

THIS PLACE HAS COCKROACHS. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE IN MY ROOM. POOR MANAGEMENT, FRONT DESK LEFT UNATTENDED WAS WAITING FOR 3 HOURS FOR MY KEY NOT WORKING, BEFORE A WORKER SHOWED UP. THE CEILING IN THE BATHROOM IS FALLING APART AND ROACHS CRAWLING IN AND OUT OF THE WALLS! HOUSEKEEPING DO NOT LISTEN. I TOLD THEM I DONT NEED ANY SERVICES DUE TO ME WORKING NIGHTS BUT THEY WILL KNOCKED AND TRIED TI ENTER THE ROOM WHILE I WAS SLEEPING. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS POOR!
