Cozy home, with in minutes of Kenai and Kasilof rivers.

Duplex on 5 acres, with owners occupying upstairs. Rental is ground floor, surrounded with a beautiful woodsy feel and moose that pass through the yard. Situated 4 - 5 miles out of Soldotna access to the Kenai and Kasilof rivers are only minutes away. Homer, Russian River falls, K- beach, Skillak,Seward, and Exit Glazier are all within 20 minutes to 1 1/2 hr. Drive with lots of wildlife and breath taking scenery to view. Home has full size Kitchen, with Fridge, stove, microwave, table, coffee maker and freezer , Washer and Dryer. 2 Full size bathrooms. 3 bedrooms. 1st bed room, 2 twin beds. Room 2, Queen bed. Room 3, Queen bed. I do have a couple of extra twin mattresses that can be layed out in the living room if extra beds are needed. Living room big sectional, closet with extra pillows and blankets. Can sleep 6 or more. This is a NO smoking rental and no pets.
Tustamena smokehouse is across the street, great place for fish packaging and really good smoked fish.

Wow! Sometimes you hit the jackpot with VRBO homes, and this was it. Teri was prompt with communication and helpful suggestions. We were celebrating a milestone for a grandson and Teri went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect for our trip. Teri let us know the home was available before the check in time and the keypad entry made it so easy. The home was spacious, clean and the location was so convenient for all of our plans/activities. The washer/dryer was a bonus for our group of explorers. The kitchen had everything we needed, as did the bathrooms. Teri's suggestions made our trip and stay seamless. Some may be hesitant to have the host/s on property, but this was a huge benefit for us. Not only did we have a great host (plus Scott!), but we left knowing we made lasting friends. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Place

We had a great stay at Teri’s house. The accommodations were just what we were looking for, with three bedrooms and a nice open kitchen- dining room - living room area. Having two bathrooms was great as well. Parking is convenient and right out front a short 6 feet from the front door. It’s a quiet neighborhood that’s a convenient drive from Soldotna but not too far. We’ll be back!

Family vacation stay

Simply put it was fantastic! Easy to reserve, easy access, and when we arrived everything was in perfect working order. Teri and Scott were polite, professional and friendly. We quickly felt like we were with family. They made everything enjoyable and gave great advice on the area. The living accommodations were spacious and clean. We had all our meals in our own dining room and didn't need to fight the crouds in restaurants. We will definitely reserve from them again. Teri and Scott, thank you for making this part of our Alaskan vacation so enjoable and memorable. We look forward to our next visit. Kevin and Sheryl.

The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, kitchen that you can really cook in, freezer for storing our fish, sharp knives, big couch, sort of overall space that a family can enjoy and relax. We were able to make trips to local rivers for salmon, loved the Tustumena Smokehouse across the street, and our hosts gave us great tips on guides, and how to pack our catch to bring home frozen.

The place was fantastic and Teri was amazing.

We took our whole family and staying here made it easy to access so many fun activities. Teri was so helpful in getting us checked in and giving us ideas on the area and local spots to visit. The home was lovely and we enjoyed the open layout playing games and the kitchen was fun and easy to use preparing meals. The outdoor cooling equipment was in great shape as well. We enjoyed our stay, the home was very nice and clean just a couple years old. We had every thing we needed plus more. The home was easy to get to and just a short joint from town. The owners where there also, we enjoyed a short visit with them and they shared their fresh fish with us. How yummy! They even shared their back yard visitor with us the neighborhood moose she came and visited us she was just under our window. Where else could this happen other then Alaska. We would come back to this location again a very positive experience.

Nice and clean .....loved seeing the elk right out the window!!!

I loved it all... Loved having a vehicle. Great hospitality. Loved having most of the days planned out. It was fun to have time to do whatever we wanted too. I thought it was great to shop for food and make our own lunches. The weather was so great. This is now one of my favorite places to go. This fun, cozy place was amazing... Cant wait to go back next year......if not sooner!!!

Fun Family Vacation

This cabin was a good location for seeing the west side of the Kenai. It had everything we needed, plus it had a chest freezer that came in handy for freezing the fish we caught. My wife really enjoyed the soft blankets on the couch.

Beautiful and peaceful stay on the Kenai Peninsula

So clean and comfortable! Teri, you’re a very sweet and accommodating hostess. Thanks so much for sharing your rental with us. The property was secluded and quiet. We saw a moose with a calf in the yard! What fun! The decor was tasteful and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable. Hot water was plentiful. Towels were soft—ahhhh, nice! The kitchen had everything we needed when we cooked for 6–including 3 hungry fishermen. There was ample space for parking the boat, truck, and car. We were thankful for a large washer and dryer so we didn’t have to pack more clothing for the trip. The location was great for exploring the peninsula. The ladies went floating down the Kenai River, shopped Soldotna, had a delicious lunch at Fine Thyme CafĂ©, hiked at Slikok Creek Recreational Area, and relaxed on Teri’s reclining sectional sofa while the guys enjoyed their fishing activities. Thanks again, Teri! We had a great time! p.s. If you visit, don’t miss the Tustumena Smoke House just across the street. Yummy!

Great house, great experience!

We stayed at Teri and Scott’s house on our fishing trip to Alaska. We had a wonderful experience. The house is in a great location- we took float plane trips out Soldotna, and we were conveniently located to town for that. The house was clean and new- comfortable beds. Great kitchen for cooking. We cooked some deliciousness halibut on the porch grill. There are new oversized washer and dryers in the house which came in very handy for doing laundry. We just missed a momma moose and her two babies when we were there. They had showed up in the yard for 2 days before we arrived- that is an Alaskan experience for sure! Teri communicated with us great before we got there, she provided great local information about wherevto see bears, caribou and moose close by. We could not have asked for a better house to base our excursions out of. When I come back to Soldotna, I will definitely stay here again. Home run all the way around.

Very nice home!

This home is very clean and comfortable. It was a perfect home base for our vacation, and was so nice to return to at the end of a long day. We enjoyed preparing our own meals and relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings. Teri and her husband were great to work with and gave us helpful information and suggestions about the area and things to do. We will definitely stay here again!
