Residence Limoneto - Casa Limoneto

CASA LIMONETO is a gorgeous two-storey property forming part of a residential complex just a short walk from the centre of Sorrento. The property has a total living area of 100 square meters, can accommodate up to 8 people and includes Wi-Fi, air conditioning and private parking. The complex boasts a large swimming pool (shared with other residents) with a vast surrounding area furnished with small tables, deck chairs and parasols. Outside, there is a large barbecue and a gazebo made from chestnut poles with a large table where you’ll be able to enjoy a typical Neapolitan pizza (there is a wood-fired oven which can be used only under supervision of the owners) or a tasty Sorrento dish prepared on request by the owner and their family. In the upper area of the complex, near the pool, there is another gazebo where you’ll be able to relax and eat, enjoy a book or savour a good Campania wine. The garden surrounding the complex is rich with lemon, orange and olive trees and ornamental plants, and the various shared areas are furnished with tables and chairs where you’ll be able to relax and enjoy some peace. For the children, there are hammocks and swings immersed in the greenery.

NOTE: The outdoor areas and swimming pool are shared with the owner who lives on-site and will be available for anything you might need.

The property is located down a driveway just 500 metres from Sorrento’s main square.

Casa Limoneto is located right in the centre of Sorrento, with many shops, restaurants and bars. Nearby is the Circumvesuviana train station, the bus station and the harbour from which you can travel to Capri, Ischia, Procida, Napoli or Amalfi. Sorrento is close to many renowned places. These include Nerano (famous for its restaurants and where you can rent a typical boat known as a ‘Gozzo’), Sant’Agata sui due Golfi (with numerous walking trails through the charming, green landscape), Massa Lubrense (with traditional fishing ports like Marina di Puolo and Marina della Lobra, where you’ll be able to bathe in the sea or enjoy some local dishes in one of the many restaurants) and coastal villages, such as Amalfi, Positano, Ravello or Praiano.

Upon entering the private gates to the residence, you’ll find a long tree-lined driveway where you can leave your car (you won’t need a car anyway). You’ll quickly notice how much the owner cares for the whole complex. Great attention is paid to the details of the unique stone paving, the many tuff-rock walls, the well-tended garden and finally to the wooden gazebos and porches, made by expert local craftsmen, allowing you to relax in the shade. Furthermore, the presence of the recently renovated country house (partly inhabited by the owner and partly by residents) makes everything even more special.

There are no steps between the parking area and the entrance to Casa Limoneto.

THE SWIMMING POOL measures 9 x 5 metres and is available from April until the end of October. The pool area features parasols, an outdoor shower, sun loungers, pool chairs, small tables and chairs.

GROUND FLOOR

THE DINING AREA is spacious and contains a television, dining table for eight people, electric kettle, toaster and a pod coffee machine. The room is fitted with air conditioning and heating.

THE PROFESSIONAL KITCHEN contains a large fridge with freezer compartment, a five-hob gas stove, an electric oven, a moka pot, a microwave, a slicer and other small appliances. The kitchen is accessed via the dining room.

THE guest bathroom contains a toilet and a sink. It is accessed from the corridor.

THE FIRST BEDROOM WITH EN-SUITE BATHROOM contains a double bed and a TV and is fitted with air conditioning and heating. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, WC, sink, and bidet. The bedroom is accessed from the corridor.

UPPER FLOOR (accessible via the lift or a staircase of 15 steps from the ground floor)

THE SECOND BEDROOM WITH EN-SUITE BATHROOM contains a double bed, a single bed and a TV, and is fitted with air conditioning and heating. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, WC, sink, and bidet. The bedroom is accessed from the corridor.

THE THIRD BEDROOM WITH EN-SUITE BATHROOM contains a double bed, a single bed and a TV and is fitted with air conditioning and heating. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, WC, sink, and bidet. The bedroom is accessed from the corridor.

Important things to know

- Tourist Tax: 3,00 Euros per person per day for the first 7 nights, from 1st April until 31st October. Children under the age of 18 are exempt from this tax.
- For arrivals after 20:00 an additional cost, to be paid at the arrival, of 50,00 Euros will be applied.
- Parking: 20,00 Euros per day.
- Final cleaning: 100,00 Euros.
