The Station House: A Dream Catskills Getaway

Summary:
This dreamy, custom built home was designed especially for large family get-togethers while enjoying the crisp Catskills mountain air. Set on 10 acres of sprawling land with a picturesque view of the Catskills mountains from the pool deck and terrace. The pool, outdoor patios and great lawn make for an amazing vacation to spend with family and friends. The interior is set with fireplaces, custom wood paneling and an indoor meditation fountain. The Train Caboose is quite the experience!

This 10 acre property has a driveway, a large parking lot, garage area, bungalow,  a main house and a real train caboose car that is a fully furnished 1 bedroom suite. There is a fully private swimming pool along with an outdoor bathroom and plenty of place to relax and enjoy the day overlooking the sprawling lawn with breathtaking mountain views in the background. The house itself has a huge indoor den area with high ceilings and skylights. The kitchen area has ample space to cook for large groups as well as an elevator leading up to the roof top patio. There are 10 bedrooms in total, 6.5 baths and a Jacuzzi tub in the master suite with his and hers water closets. This house makes for an unforgettable family experience. You will love it here!

Friends Getaway

My friends and I used this house for a big group getaway and it perfectly served our needs. There were a few small surprises, like the payment portal not working and the train car not actually being at the house. Still, the host helped us as much as possible. Highly recommend!

Great home for entertaining large groups. We were pleasantly surprised to see many necessities were already there, ie. toilet paper, coffee filters, spices, ice making machine, laundry detergent, etc. The manager, Jack, was helpful and easy to reach out to. Would highly recommend.

Great House - Will be Ready for Primetime Next Summer

Overall a great house. You can tell the owners just purchased this though, and rushed it a bit for the summer season. Once they have time this off season to finish the improvements, this will be a great house! Major Pros: Pool, Hot Tub, Great Kitchen, Dining Room, and Living Room (though it did have an echo and we had some toddlers...) Cons: The decks need some work, which we were told is scheduled for the off season. The bedrooms range in sizes, and overall are sufficient. The location is a bit hit or miss depending on your objective. We just wanted a complex large enough to host our family gathering, and this sufficed. Overall, would recommend - especially next summer!

Great location.

We all had wonderful time as house was large enough and we loved the pool, all the decks and the kitchen was very well equipped for us to make our meals. Our disappointments were with the bedrooms upstairs which were small and furnishings were very basic. Living room looked outdated.. I cannot praise enough about Jack our property manager who was awesome and helped us with extra towels, chopping boards and gave us all the information we needed about the area. We were very pleased with his cooperation. We would definitely rent this place again in spite of few drawbacks. We enjoyed the pool and the views from the deck and being together with the family in this spacious home. Thanks.

Large property

Renting the property was nice and easy. Did not have any additional paperwork that needed to be signed . The property manager Jack met us there and gave us a tour of the property and how operate the the waterfall and fountain . Jack is very friendly and easy to reach. Overall the property was great , the pictures did not deceive, huge property with lots of space . The house was recently purchased and they are still fixing and adding things . But overall we all had a good experience and would recommend the house.
