Guest Access and Important Information
The property includes private parking for two cars. A good local road network and nearby railway stations make it easy to explore further afield, and Dundee Airport offers short-haul flights. In St Andrews, free parking is available at The Bruce Embankment off Petheram Bridge for all-day stays. Pay-and-display parking is also available throughout the town.
Additional amenities include heating and bed linen. A lock box is available outside the cottage for easy key access.
We just spent 5 days at this unit. It was a bit out of town but, unless you love relentless crowds and hunting for paid parking, it is better to be out of town.
No big problems, easy to communicate with agency via email and they respond quickly. Of course, they are available via phone for urgency but we had no need to call.
Suggestion to take this to next level. Perhaps leave a few Bin bags-the unit had one bag for 5 day stay. Cheap thing to do and avoids overstuffing bin bags. And put a small broom in the unit for gentle tidying (and it might make the after visit professional cleanup a bit easier).
All in all a very good stay. If you are looking for a place to stay in the St Andrews area, give it a try.
This was a perfect cottage right outside St Andrews, only a short drive into town. Beautiful scenery with a view of one of the golf courses, and we had everything we needed for two great days in this part of Scotland.
A well appointed cottage with large rooms and lovely garden / outside areas. Close enough to St Andrews to enjoy the town, far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet.
