The grounds of the Myrtle Plantation were stunning . Our room was beautifully decorated and very classy. We stayed in the Octavia Room and had our own little balcony to look at lake, courtyard and the gorgeous mallard ducks. The restaurant on the property was spectacular!!

The guide was fun and very knowledgeable of the history of the plantation and shared some really good stories. All in all, Myrtles has everything. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful getaway for the weekend. We enjoyed the property tour and ghost tour staff was incredible and knowledgeable. 1796 restaurant was incredible. They really made our anniversary special. We stayed in the Judge Clark Woodruff Suite and definitely experienced several paranormal encounters. Definitely worth a stay if you like ghost stories and paranormal activities.

The hotel has great history. Quaint place with great breakfast. If you stay there, try to avoid one of the rooms in the main house. I stayed in the sterling room and it was very noisy. I could hear the people talking bc the walls are very thin. The guests next door spoke until the wee hours and again in the middle of the night. I got minimal sleep. Also the bathroom was outside the room, which takes some adjustment.
