No matter what brings you, Treasure Island and the surrounding area is the perfect spot for relaxation and adventure!
We had a wonderful time at lands end. The condo and whole area was clean and well taken care of. We watched the manatees in the canal and at the beach. Very relaxing to just sit on the patio and watch all the boats pass by and listen to the bands from across the canal. Just a short walk to the beach and pool. Both were clean and warm.
Stayed here with my husband & two children (ages 5 & 7) for spring break and we wouldnât come back due to price for what you get. Positives-the pool is heated for swimming in March, the proximity to the beach, balcony looking over the bay, and walking path around property. We did see dolphins and a manatee swimming near the shore.
Negatives about the propertyâthe shower heads spray water up towards ceiling/ out in the bathroom and the pressure is so high it is painful. The pillow cases on the bed upon arrival had black mascara stains on them. The blinds in the master are missing slats. There were only 4 bath towels provided and no beach/pool towels (so either pack them prior to coming or you have to buy them when you get there). If you plan on cooking the kitchen is only stocked with one pan for stove top cooking. The unit came with starter dishwasher detergent, but none for laundry.
Negatives about the lands end condo communityâ-the security is very strict, watching on cameras while you are in pool/hot tub. If you have a drink in a can /plastic cup you can not be sitting near or in the pool. They do not allow alcohol near pool either. They absolutely do not allow kids to even put feet in or go in hot tub even with parents. All of these things the security will see on camera and they walk around the pool/hot tub and make you get out or rid of your drinks. You do not have access to the guesthouse or gym. Also, the people who live here were not friendly to renters.
The condo was super nice and very spacious. We loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying the water. Great location. Private yet close to everything. The property is very well maintained.
The location of the condo is convenient to everything. Would highly recommend to others. The unit is very clean and the furnishings are nice. We will be back again!
we loved everything about this condo except the showers. The floor of both tend to be very slippery when wet and there are NO grab bars for safety! Also, the water stings and there is no adjustment.
Other than that, we loved this rental and already placed deposit for next year!
Check in very easy, liked the guard at the entrance felt safe. Loved that we were at the end of the island away from heavy traffic. Inside very spacious does have cracks in several floor tiles. Balcony was great we spent a lot of time sitting out there listening to the music from across the bay and watching the manatee and dolphins we saw daily! I would love to stay again
We escaped the Michigan winter for a great family vacation. Beach was phenomenal, pool was very well kept and the condo was very nice, only complaint (small) was being on the canal side and the live music from the bars across the street on the weekend. Very loud until about 11:30pm. Really friendly people around the complex.
We were very happy with the gated community, had covered parking, a great pool and easy access to the beach. We also played pickle ball a few times and that was fun.
There is really nowhere to walk from there without walking on the street, so we kinda missed being able to take long walks or walk to bars and shops. We did walk on the beach some, but at times it was very windy and cold.
The unit was large and we enjoyed the view....got to watch boats go by and paddle boarders. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were roomy with comfortable beds.
We did not like the carpeting...it did not seem especially clean and held kind of a musty smell. Not the best choice at the beach. The bathrooms were dated, but the furniture was comfortable and the kitchen appliances were nice. We also liked what appeared to be new sliders...on a nice day it was great to open them up for fresh air.
The owner was more than kind and always available for any questions. Overall, we had a nice stay.
