This hotel is in need of a RENOVATION. I stayed here a couple of years ago when they at least had a restaurant and bar. Both are gone. The hotel is BASIC. If you need a bed to sleep then it will do. The only saving grace is that the STAFF are nice. They deserve to have jobs but the hotel needs to shut down and re-open will more ammenities-MAINLY A RESTAURANT. The location is good - I walked to the airport. But there is no food options. The Emerald Beach Resort is walking distance but their food is blah. The rooms also do not have mini refrigerators. For local food try Walkers by the Sea…it is close but closes early. At times I was feeling like I was at the BATES Motel. I hope the owners of this establishment READ THE REVIEWS and make some updates. St. Thomas is one of my favorite islands….and I will be back. But not at the Linberg Bay Resorts.

If you are on a budget or plan to be out and about all day, then maybe consider this hotel. Super close to the airport, you can walk and if you like aviation you can look at planes and see them fly off/land. The beach nearby is fine. The rooms are clean and that is it for the positives. The hotel is greatly run down and needs renovations asap. Our room didnt even have a lock on the bathroom door, so it didnt stay closed - it was always slightly opened, there was no shower control handle as it was broken off. We had a leaking toilet 3 out of the 4 nights we were there and they came to fix it three times but after the third time it literally flooded the entire bathroom floor. They offered us a different, downgraded room, in the middle of the night after they said they fixed it the first time but nothing happened, but didnt offer to help us move... They dont greet you with a hello or a smile, the lady who had the afternoon shift was the nicest. The beach towles smell horrible, I would bring your own. We were supposed to have a mini fridge and never received it even after asking, no apologies given. Overall, if you plan to only sleep there, and put up with everything I mentioned, consider staying there. I dont believe I would again.

The property is a bit worn but clean and nice staff. Quiet. Location is as expected - near the airport so convenient if you need to be near the airport! Nice little balcony. Very comfortable but not fancy, bathrooms seem to be updated.

Morning staff was very rude, she kept interrupting me anytime I had a question or was speaking. The power went out on our first night for about 4 hours. Staff said that the hotel doesn’t have a generator and there was nothing we could do but wait because their manager wasn’t answering the phone. The balcony lock didn’t work as well ask the sink faucet.

Stay was great, the staff was very helpful. We did suffer a power outage, but we got a partial refund for it. Plus is that its close to the airport, and emerald beach.... Con is the proximity to everything else... I stayed at the hibiscus villa, and it definitely was worth it... the view alone was amazing! I can only speak on the villa ilI stayed in.

The hotel went out of power the night that I was staying, there was absoultely zero back up power. I had to use my phone light to guide myself in the hallway. Staff did not have answers to questions. The room was too hot to sleep in so I sat outside the balconly most of the night. Hotel did not do anything to compensate for the power outage.
