Steps to Heavenly, Sleeps 4
Snowflake Chalet is located within very close proximity to the Stagecoach and Boulder Lodges on the Nevada side of Heavenly Ski Resort, the perfect spot for a ski or snowboard trip!
This cozy, two-bedroom condo offers all of the comforts of home. Enjoy views of the forest while sipping your morning coffee on the patio. Relax after a day of Tahoe adventures while playing some games with your group at the gaming table. Stay in for the evening and cook dinner in the well-equipped kitchen.
The unit has one queen bed and two twin beds. The living room is furnished with a large, comfortable couch surrounding the fireplace.
Located in the area is a small convenience store for last minute needs, as well as a great local restaurant and bar called the Fox & Hound Smokehouse Grill & Bar that has great barbecue, pizza, burgers, and breakfast. Note that the community pool and hot tub are closed starting June 21 for the summer to rebuild the new community center.
In winter months, you'll be minutes away from Heavenly Ski Resort, but also have access to beautiful snowy spots right outside your door! And during the summer months, you can enjoy hiking and mountain biking trails without even getting in the car.
The lake, downtown casino area, shopping, grocery stores, and beaches are all within a short 10-15 minute drive.

Great location with nice views & easy access to attractions & meals/entertainment. Be prepared for a multi-unit Chalet not an individual cabin.Unit A is VERY retro 70s vibe. No modern upgrades. Very drafty windows/doors. Thank goodness for the space heaters provided. Leaky dishwasher & LOTS of dust & cobwebs. LOTS of
Nice ski house, love being in the ski bus loop! Beds were comfy which is rare in a rental. Not very soundproof so when one kid wakes up you will all be up. WiFi was kinda spotty not sure why. Could use a trip to the dollar store for more cooking itemsâŠover all very comfortable and perfect for a ski weekend getaway!
Great location, great communication with situations that needed to be addressed while I stayed there. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a Tahoe retreat! Enjoy.
Easy parking and accessibility. Nice to have had access to a pool as well. Definitely no frills though. There are other units also rented in the complex so it wasnât the quietest.
Place was very nice so close to the pool. Amazing view of the lake plus amazing sunsets. Only complaints was no screens on 3 windows and no barbeque cleaning brush.
This condo is a short (<5m) shuttle ride to Stagecoach Lodge at Heavenly, which was its best feature. The unit itself is fine, although nothing special. It was a little cold (the single wall heater in the main room was challenged to heat the space) and dark (there's very little overhead lighting) in the evening, but it was comfortable enough for a cozy evening after a day on the slopes, and having a full (if small) kitchen was nice. It's very reasonably priced, and we'd stay here again for a ski weekend.
Good location, but slightly further from lifts than communicated.. The pictures are definitely overselling this place. Half of lightbulbs were out.. only one small lamp per bedroom.. masking tape keeping chairs together , nowhere to put ski gear, no coat hooks, etc. A little love would go a long way as the place was pretty beat up and dark vs what the pics make it out to be. For less $$ it would be fine. It is what it is. Would recommend to a few guys looking to just ski and sleep vs any real vacation ambience. Iâd give it a 2.5 out of 5 overall.
There are no any hanger or hook in the whole property for your winter coats, snow jackets or snow pants . Imagine a family with kids returning after an outdoor trip, ski, sledding etc Where we suppose to hang all our stuff to dry? All sofas and chairs where covered with wet clothes.
There are no any chair, table, hook or horizontal surface in the bedrooms and bathroom.
There were not enough towels and the few provided were very shabby. I washed and dried them every day of the stay.
The kitchen stuff is Ok. Except there are no kitchen towels and not enough paper towels.
