Not so funky. in Prestige Strathalbyn .
No stay. Front part of the property is covered with mitre high dry grass unable to access as I was wearing stockings and evening dress. Husband checked in and out. Bed was unmade. No light in toilet/shower shed. Regard. Terry and edie Funk. We sent a email to stayz complaining about the place asked for our money back still have nothing from them . No money or reply to email. Dont stay at this place not worth it. Stayz please give our money back. Thanks

Very basic as listed. Primitive to have to turn on the tap to connect the water to the shower. Due to the hot weather the bathroom was like a hot box. Impossible to have a shower until morning when the bathroom was cool enough to enter. Drive in to property totally neglected. Meter box covered with painted cardboard box. Power cords running everywhere. Blockout blind didn't cover entire window/door strips of black plastic used to fill in the gaps.

Missing louver in one of the windows which allowed in a number of outdoor insects inside (huntsmans, cockroaches, moths) coffee in jar was solid as not used in along time. Bed was comfortable as was lounge chairs. Still we enjoyed our stay in strathalbyn and it was an experience staying at the funky.

For starters no check in information was provided when I drove 2 hrs there get told because of late booking which was not late as I booked it a month beforehand the studio was not able to be cleaned, definitely do not recommend at all do not stay at this place

There was a big area inside for the kids to play in BUT 4 people booked - 2 towels. Not enough bowls for 4 people and the size of the ones there were baby size. The cutlery and crockery was dirty and had to be washed. A broken window - freezing cold. The TV wouldn't work. Not sure if it was meant as a joke or not but the frying pan could fit 1 egg and the saucepan was the size of a small cup. I could have coped with the portaloo and shower if the 'tent' around it had walls and a roof but it was terrible, nothing at all like the picture.

No key to lock apt. Dangerous ablution setting a portaloo in tent with no rails to hold onto to get up and down on/off portaloo. Broken windows let mozzies in. Opened a door which wasn’t even attached to the wall thinking this was the bathroom. Booked for three nights, stayed for one as we had been delayed and arrived so late. Appalling accommodation. I would not recommend.

Deep disappointed and shocked they’re on offer
Despite several emails and a text message we had no idea how to access the property. Luckily it was open on arrival but it was disconcerting to say the least. The room was dusty with cobwebs over the sink and the dishwasher was full of dirty crockery. It was galling to pay a fee for cleaning when obviously it is not cleaned regularly. The shower outside had no running water. This property should be removed from your listing and we should really have a refund for such appalling service.
