Overall a great stay. Family enjoyed our time there.
The property is as described. There are enough beds for a fair-sized group, but you won't be dining altogether at the table. There dining chairs are fewer than the number of beds. This is more of a place to rest your head at night than hang out during the day. It's in beautiful Big Bear, so who wants to be inside? The rental agreement highlights additional fees that feel like a hidden trap. They impose a 25 fee for every bag of trash left on-site, and no large outdoor trash bins are available. The check-out guidelines suggest that you should take your garbage to the local landfill to avoid being charged. The dishes were still dirty from the previous occupant. Also, no dish soap was provided to clean them, even though the description said it was available. Overall, I am happy with the stay. A few reasons it gets a knockdown from 5 stars. I wouldn't stay again for the family size (5 adults, 2 children) we had unless we were just sleeping there.
