Guests must register at the office unless it is after hours in which you will register at the Guard House. Unit 175 is clean and comfortable. It offers a 35' concrete dock with custom padded aluminum dock posts and swim ladder. Outdoor shower for rinsing off located on dock. Accessible ramp leads to screened patio and front door. Livingroom offers sofa bed and recliner. Bedroom offers king size bed. Kitchen offers full line appliances and four person dining table. Amenities include wi-fi, electric BBQ grill, washer/dryer, two bikes, two kayaks, beach chairs and bait freezer available for use. No Pets, No Smoking. Please note that Venture Out charges a one-time resort amenity fee upon check-in totaling $125. The overflow parking fee for boat trailers is $5.00 for under 20 ft. and $10.00 of over 20 ft. per day. Due to the increase in overflow parking and the lack of space in Venture Out, several businesses are offering storage for boat trailers. Cudjoe Marina @ 305-745-2352; Lower Keys Bait & Tackle on Big Pine Key @ 305-872-7679 and Mile Marker 31 Storage @ 305-872-4848. This is a gated community with 24/7 surveillance with a strict entrance. There is numerous security riding in golf carts 24/7 making sure everyone is safe. Very kids friendly, has small kiddy pool and large pool up to 9 feet. There is a jacuzzi. The pool and jacizzi are open daily until 11 pm. The pool area as well as most of the community is full of cameras so you can feel safe all the time.

We have stayed at this property 4 times in the past years. Great location in Venture Out. Clean place and great bed. Bit of a glitch at check in with not having the proper contact info for new owner but this was solved quickly. There was also a mixed message about check in time with two different times communicated to us. Again, did not turn into a problem, just a bit odd that we were receiving what looked like auto replies from VRBO from the previous owners of the property. We have just enough room in this unit for the two of us and everything is here including bikes, kayaks, SUP etc. we did not have time to use any of those items but it’s great they are there. What is missing and would be very appreciated is some sort of guide to the tv operations. We were not able to figure out what channels or streaming services were available and got frustrated with the remotes. Ended up watching NFL in a bar down the road!

The space and location were perfect for my husband and I. We brought our pontoon and it was nice to launch 3 blocks from the property and to park at the dock, at the house. We enjoyed the pool and the beautiful area. The owner kept in contact with us and was wonderful to communicate with. We would stay at this property again.

Our stay at this property was absolutely perfect. We were looking for a place to relax and do a little boating and found a gem. Our host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The house is located right on the canal with fish cleaning table and shower/hose to make an easy clean up after boating/fishing all day. Onsite boat ramp and marina were amazing! The screened in porch was a favorite spot to take in the summer breezes and after dinner we rode the bikes under the blanket of stars around the family friendly neighborhood and to the large inviting outdoor pool (open til 11)! Great place; Secure, family friendly, quiet, truly a piece of paradise. We hope to come back soon.

My boat is only steps from the rental. A big plus for us. Has a small bait freezer. Access to open water is 5 minutes. The only recommend is a small coffee table for out door area.

Great location. Easy to find. Nice to use kayaks and bicycles. We thought it was a private hot tub but was the on-site communal one so make that clearer in the advert.

Perfect location

This place was perfect for a couple’s getaway! Close enough to Key West to drive over and far enough away from hustle and bustle. Great restaurants nearby. Bed was very comfortable! Our only complaint was that we often ran out of hot water when showering

Safe and on a channel!

The pictures are very accurate. What isn't shown is a very well kept residential resort with significant security 24/7. I was traveling alone and this additional security really made me feel very safe. The same guards worked when I was there. This is a smaller, older mobile home style place but has everything you need. You can't beat the location. I didn't take part of any of the resort activities but there were bikes, a nice patio and nothing beats the view. If you need a close place near Key West that is affordable ... look no further!!

Everything was pretty good and we'll rent again when we come back. A couple things to improve: The shower head is corroded and hard to move and the pipe is not secured in the wall. Also, the shower faucet leaks unless you really torque down on tightening them. Second, the cleaning people need to cleaning the corners and under the furniture. There is a lot of fuzz, hair and dust bunnies in the bedroom corners that look like they've been there for a long time. Thank you!
