Warning: Do NOT Stay Here!

The place is plain broken: - Many light globes where not working (this is a problem as there is not may lights in the place so it's quite dark) - Cannot adjust venetian blinds: the plastic rod used to open and close the blinds is missing (so the living area was in permanent darkness) - Door lock malfunctions: the key was captured in the lock on the front door handle (I only got it back because I have a screwdriver on my and took the lock apart) - A/C leaked: large amounts of water dripped throught the light and smoke alarm in the kitchen cieling - Fire Alarms: two days in a row the building fire alarm sounded (we evacuated, fire firghts arrived, but it was a false alarm) - No Internet: the advertisement states that internet is provided. There is a WiFi modem/router in the property, and the instructions provided allowed us to connect to the WiFi. But, there is no connection from the modem to the internet. Infact, the Modem/Router is an ADLS type unit, which became obsolete where the NBN was made available. So they left the old ADLS unit in the property and never obtained an NBN connection! - The TV did not display all broadcast channel: The TV was so cheap it could not decode the HD channels, so all we could view was the basic ABC, 7, 9, 10 and SBS channels It was clean and had furniture/equipment you would expect. It was just BROKEN! Avoid!

Great location. Nice apartment. Unbearably noisy.

The location is just fantastic. Why we chose it. The apartment is roomy an we would be very happy
.but
.you need to bring your own very good ear plugs, light bulbs and DVDs. The noise from a cluster of industrial sized air conditioning units servicing the building next door - I think there 10 of them was bad enough - but added to this were the all night building works nearby.

Great location but incredibly noisy

Perfect location to get around. The place is a little bit tired but the location makes up for that. The main issue is the noise. There are gaps in the windows you can see outside that can’t be sealed. The noise from the cbd crowds at night is like the entire city is at the foot of your bed. On our final night, there were major works on the street which caused the water to be turned off. Can’t be helped but we were not warned. I could not recommend staying here unless you are an incredibly heavy sleeper

great location tired apartment

Location great access okay but inside the apartment was a letdown. the rug in lounge was filthy as were windows blinds, sills and return airduct. limited cutlery(2 teaspoons) and crockery-chipped- 2 coffeee cups. with a bit of work it could be a really comfortable place
