The Inn at Norwood
The Inn at Norwood was a beautiful old home and nicely decorated. The rooms were very nice and comfortable and clean. The owners were very nice also. My one concern is that it was more of a Bed instead of a Bed & Breakfast although the owner mentioned in an e-mail that was sent after we booked the inn, that they were laid-back and only put out (very tasty) muffins on Saturdays & Sundays and there was always oatmeal & granola bars to eat otherwise. They also had sodas & tea & coffee available at all times. I for one love the fellowship found at a B&B at the breakfast table with the owner/cooks/other guests and I really missed that part. We could have brought more of our own things and put them in the refrigerator in the room but I was disappointed with the lack of breakfast. It was a very lovely place and the owners were very nice. The town of Sykesville was very quaint and nice also. I would highly recommend it IF there had been a breakfast included.
