This accomodation was perfect, the location was super convenient everything was within walking distance especially the train and bus station it was right next door which was super handy when doing day trips or going between locations in Japan. rooms were clean tidy staff were super helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at hotel around TAKAYAMA — the location is super central and convenient to public transport for both the JR West line to get into Takayama from Tokyo and also the Nohi bus for a day trip to Kamikochi. Something super memorable about this stay was the amazing slippers available in the room which had ball-shaped padding in the arch area for foot reflexology — perfect after a long day of walking. Highly recommend this stay! Thanks for the wonderful service to the staff at hotel around TAKAYAMA.

Room was on the smaller side and did not have a closet. Otherwise, it was clean. They also conserve on water and offer filtered water on each floor which is good. This is a good hotel if you want a basic, no frills accommodations.

Small room, not enough space to put our suitcases,. No complimentary bottles of water. Tiny bathroom, No table between beds so we had to put a chair in between. Friendly staff.
