Amazing House near mountains -Greenville /Travelers Rest - Hiking Biking Golfing

The property is nestled in a wooded 2.72 acre portion of the owner's gated 22 acre property with a one mile nature trail (not paved/uneven terrain) that boast incredible sunsets. This two-story, 3600 sq ft home is perfect for up to 10 people. With an open plan design, the house allows for group cooking, dining, game playing both indoors and outside. Designed by the owner (local architect) to enjoy time with their two boys, the house contains everything you could want - a game room/bunk bed bed room with a tv and lots of board games, a library with books for all ages, an outdoor porch to watch wildlife or enjoy relaxing - just to name a few of the features.

Located in Northern Greenville County in South Carolina, the property is a short drive to downtown Greenville Restaurants/Shopping and Falls River Park and Travelers Rest, SC and the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The area is great for cyclists, hikers, golfers, hunters and sports fans. Close to several wedding venues including Rose Springs Farm, Aurora Farms, The School House, Edinburgh West, Pretty Place and many more.

Several golf courses open to public play: Cherokee Valley Golf Course and Club 4 miles, Pebble Creek 6.5 miles, Paris Mountain Golf Club 7.3 miles, Greer Golf 7.9 miles, Furman University Golf Club 8.4 miles, Links of Tryon 9.7 miles.

Regina our host was very accommodating. Even though we never met her, the texts that we received from her were warm and gracious. The house was just right for our family with plenty of room. We never felt on top of each other. The fact that we were away from the city and out in the country was another plus for us.

Wedding Weekend

This was a wonderful house for my family to stay at during my daughter’s wedding. Wish we had more time to enjoy the house. Great living spaces and easily accommodated 4 couples plus a child. I will stay again if I am back in the area.

Great getaway

Property owner was very easy to contact and highly responsive to all our needs before, during and after our stay. The home was very spacious and had so many games, books and areas for retreat and gathering that it was perfect. The backyard was wonderful for the children’s games, the area was pleasant for strolling and the side yard was super for a final family soccer game. All the bedrooms were delightful and comfortable. Greenville was only 20 minutes away as well as grocery stores and some restaurants. I’d recommend!

Relaxing Retreat

Family members got together to celebrate a wedding. The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We found many perfect gathering places all over the house for conversation, playing some of the many games, watching TV, eating together and exploring the beautiful grounds. Regina was very helpful with any questions that arose. It was a great experience and we would pick this house again if we were to return to the area.

Family Wedding Weekend

Our family gathered for my son’s wedding at Lindsey Plantation. The house is less than 10 minutes from the wedding venue. The house was perfect for our multi-generational stay. Beautiful layout, comfortable furnishings, and great outdoor space! Regina was a wonderful host. She was kind & very responsive and helpful when needed. Definitely recommend this home!

Beautiful house with welcoming hosts!

The house is beautiful and well-appointed. It has a very unique and appealing floor plan with a lovely library and a long table for family meals. Our kids loved the game room and being able to pick books to read from the library. The communication from the hosts was great! They made us feel very welcome and sounded like they would be quickly available if we had any issues.

Wonderful house and location

This house was large enough for our group to still feel homey but have our own space. Close enough to town it wasn’t a long drive but far enough away to be peaceful! Also we were able to get an early check in with ease and that was a huge help for our travel situation. Finally the owner was so accommodating to our large group and parking needs. We would’ve stayed longer if there was not other reservations.

Perfect place for our Reading Retreat

Our book club selected this home for our annual reading retreat and it was perfect. Lots of wonderful space for individual reading as well as group conversation. The home and surroundings were lovely, and the kitchen was spacious with lots of cooking supplies. The screened porch was very inviting. We just had adults with us, but there was lots of books and games for families, too. We loved that it was a short drive to Greenville. Communication with the host was excellent. Lots of nice memories made with friends in this beautiful home.

One Fine Spread

This place is really nice. It has really good gathering areas, and Regina does an awesome job (she lives just a couple doors down). We had ppl from 21 to 84 yrs of age for my son’s Furman graduation and all were comfy. We wish it were a little closer to downtown (25 to 30 min
perhaps 15-20 to Furman) but we knew this going in. Really clean and roomy house. Thanks for everything!

Wonderful home for Groomsmen and family

Our son got married at Edinburgh West. This beautiful home is just a hop, skip, and jump away from the venue. We had plenty of room for the out of town groomsmen and family. Thanksgiving Reunion

We hosted a Thanksgiving celebration with extended family. The house was perfect- it was very clean and it was amazingly well-equipped with cookware, bakeware, and dishes. The outside spaces were really fantastic and it was close to downtown Greenville. Ben and Regina were super responsive to all my questions ahead of our celebration (oven size, type of coffee maker, grill) and responded immediately when we had questions during our stay. The house had lots of space to spread out and it was great having a gaming space upstairs for the teens so we could still watch football downstairs. We also really loved the Ping-Pong table in the garage. People played all weekend and it never bothered those of us cooking, watching TV or playing cards. We had enough chaos without pets, but I believe some are allowed with owner permission and the fenced yard would make bringing them really easy. I haven't had much experience with VRBO and rented this based off reviews. The house really lived up to the great reviews and I would absolutely go back to this property. If I had to come up with one criticism, we could have used a few extra rolls of paper towels and toilet paper for our big crowd, but those were easily acquired from a nearby store. I would highly recommend this rental if looking for a house near Greenville.

Great place for friends to gather

With five bedrooms, this place worked great for our 50th homecoming reunion. It was close to Furman University and the large dining room table worked well for our cookout on their gas grill. Regina, the owner responded immediately to our questions prior to and during our stay.

Amazing property!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. We used this property to get ready for my wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better place. Regina was extremely helpful leading up to our stay, so accommodating and amazing. The house was beautiful for photos and had all the amenities we could ask for!

Clemson Homecoming Reunion Success

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this past weekend! We were able to have our friends and children stay under one roof, and it was a great time. The house is laid out very well, and had several spots where the kids could play during the day. This is an excellent spot for those looking for an affordable, peaceful weekend. The owners were super responsive, and the communication was top notch.
