My wife and I really enjoyed the stay. It's close to downtown Tazewell, but far enough out of town that you feel like you're out in the mountains far from civilization. It's a quaint, new-ish wooden cabin with everything we needed for a couple days away. There's no TV, but honestly we didn't miss it, and it was nice to not mindlessly flip on the screen during downtime. I'd go back again for sure when traveling that way.
Property was very nice a little hairy going between the trees with a large vehicle. No handicap access. Cabin contains most of whatâs needed. Some luxuries were missing as such as a table and chairs. Bring your own blankets none are furnished. Located close to town. Had a little problem with Vrbo sending us the incorrect house key numbers but we got to talk to the manager Matthew and heâs very helpful and understanding. We enjoyed our stay and the fall foliage was beautiful. Stayed three days.
I can not express how overjoyed I was with the Cabin and it's location. So peaceful and I loved the cows that came to feed while I sat at the picnic table and read aloud from the Bible during my Devotions and Worship time with GOD.
Thank You
The cabin is very nice and clean. We enjoyed talking with the owner and he was very responsive with questions. We found some amazing roads to explore on the motorcycles.
My wife and I had a great weekend getaway at the cabin! It is in a spectacularly beautiful location which is both rustic and yet has modern amenities. It was great for us who are not traditional campers, yet we still had the feeling we were in the great outdoors. It is also close two small towns which had wonderful restaurants and shops. We would definitely come back and I highly recommend it to anyone, especially couples, looking for that unique weekend experience.
This rental was perfect for a weekend getaway! It was cozy and warm on a cold day. Very clean and had everything that we needed for our short stay. We will definitely be back to visit.
