Mountainside Inn is Telluride's most affordable property, conveniently located along the San Miguel River and just 200 yards to lift #7!

*Please note: Parking in the town of Telluride is a growing issue. Mountainside Inn parking spaces are limited, and permit availability is first come, first served. We strongly encourage you to consider one of the many local shuttle options in favor of driving. Should you choose to drive, and use one of the Mountainside Inn Parking Permits, there is a $20 per night parking fee. If there is no Mountainside Inn parking available, you may need to park overnight in one of the local paid parking garages.*

The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators). Rooms may face the river, mountainside, parking lot or a neighboring building.

This kitchenette room provides you with a two-burner cooktop, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker, and the pans and dishes you need to complete any meal. The queen bed and twin bed are all in the same room. The bathroom has a large exterior vanity area and a step-in shower.

Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn.

The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn.

Please be aware that your room number may differ than the one on your reservation confirmation. The Mountainside Inn reserves the right to move reservations to a comparable room without notifying the guest.

This room is dog-friendly with prior notification and a $30/night fee. Pet fees will be charged at check-in. Two dog limit.

Great Location!

This place is great. I've stayed here many times. Easy to Lift 7, easy walk to town. Room is fine, nothing fancy but clean and good enough place to come home to after a day on the hill.

Great location, quiet and comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is close to the walking trail which had easy access to town. It was very quiet so perfect for that midday nap after a strenuous hike. Great place to stay with your dog. We stayed here with our dog and it was comfortable and the ability to step out near a trail helped tremendously. Would recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Overall great experience!

Location was fantastic -right by the base of the mountain and super close to a lift! Only negative was the check-in process, the woman at the desk had signed another guest in under my name and given them our room instead, forcing them to move their stuff into another room - super inconvenient for both groups! Other then that it was great.

Momonce said: "Do not spend too much on a hotel room .....You will not spend much time there" - Sage advice. Stayed in Bldg 300 mid-January for ski trip. Easy walk to gondola / lift and main drag shops and restaurants. Beds were good, space is a little tight, but perfect for us.

Festival time

This hotel is right in town and everything is an easy walk. The property is dated but very clean and well maintained. The room was pretty cramped with the Queen and twin beds. I am glad I ended up traveling alone. It was great to have a little electric stove and a toaster.

Old, dirty, not worth the money

While the location is wonderful, I cannot in good faith recommend this place to anyone. It smelled so bad I couldn’t stay in the room. Everything was so outdated it was both falling apart and looked worn/dirty. There are no amenities (besides a couple unmarked liquids in the shower, which you’ll be dying to get out of anyways) and no housekeeping. The beds were uncomfortable and old. Honestly the only thing going for this place is the location (and a super lovely employee named Stevie who was very accommodating), but honestly I’d rather camp outside than stay here again. Don’t waste your money. .

Excellent stay

This is a small studio style guest room. Excellent location. Perfect for a single/couple adventure. We travel with a small dog and parrot. We all fit well. Dog friendly trails are close. Convenient to the Galloping Goose free town transportation. Excellent staffing!
