The full kitchen is equipped with all the essentials for preparing delicious meals and the convenience of a laundry area ensures a stress-free experience for guests. The highlight of the house? Undoubtedly the best porch in town! Sit back and soak in the laid-back atmosphere of small-town Templeton as the lazy afternoon unfolds.
Step outside and experience a true Main Street, wine tasting to dining and boutique shopping, Saturday Farmer's Market, everything is just a stone's throw away. ***Five Star Coffee Program- We start your stay with a supply of coffee, filters, coffee pods, cream, and sugar for our provided drip and pod-style coffee makers onsite at every home. ***Dogs are only allowed with an additional $25/night per dog fee. The pet fee is not included in the 'initial quote'. Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog(s) during your stay, so we can charge accordingly.***Wi-Fi and/or power outages can occur periodically in our small town and rural settings, over which we have no control***There may be wildlife on site, including bugs, both inside and outside.***
***We continue to implement our already rigorous cleaning protocols along with an added layer of disinfecting, as we finalize for each guest arrival. On departure, we ask that you take out the trash and begin a load of towels in the laundry, if it exists onsite, and we require that you not leave any dirty dishes/pots & pans. The inside of the property was very clean, we were very surprised at how well laid out it was. We found everything we needed at once. The coffee set up was exceptional! The reverse osmosis faucet was an added bonus as we did not need to bring bottled water. Dish soap, scrubbies, and tea towels all provided. Both side and front yards were fenced off allowing a safe place for our dogs to enjoy. Both beds and sofa bed were all incredibly comfy, with beautiful, clean white sheets, and plenty of pillows. Bathrooms, and showers had shampoo, conditioner and soap provided.The location was perfect, the family wedding location was less than 10 minutes away, the town, stores, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and Saturday's Farmer's Market were a mere minutes walk away. There was even a local pet store and a Trader Joe's a short drive away. Communication with Paso Robles Vacation was excellent, all staff we spoke to were helpful and friendly. Note, it was on a busy street, and was right next door to a popular breakfast restaurant, so many cars parked right outside the front gate and at the side of the house - some people even apologized to us for parking there, when we were sitting on the porch!

Wonderful location - so much within walking distance on Main Street (e.g., Joe’s literally next door for breakfast and La Chata across the street for lunch / dinner) and short drives to both Paso Robles and Atascadero. If you’re a cyclist, great spot to recon the Bovine Classic ride route. The house is cozy and clean inside and well stocked. Fenced front yard area is great if you have critters, and the city park is a short couple of blocks away as well. There is some road noise from Main Street so if you are noise sensitive, bring your preferred source of white noise for sleep time.

Heart of town

Liked the size and layout of the house. Beds very comfortable. Updated interior very nice. Immediate answering of phone when I called twice with questions. Especially loved the location as near restaurants and wine and beer pubs and a deli. Was a little noisy sometimes in early morning with saws or drills! Cars also noisy. But not downgrading because of that because I loved the location. Inside bedroom you could hear noise but it didn’t bother me Would definitely stay same place again.

Our home during remodel

We are locals and needed an extra week for our remodel to be complete, so we stayed here. The outside is not quite as nice as pictured but this house is sandwiched between two of Templeton's best places to eat! Joe's breakfast burrito is the best! And great Mexican food on the other side. It's small but clean and comfortable. The only thing we missed was an actual closet. Both bedrooms have armoire's only.

Our getaway

Comfortable convenient location. There are no TVs in the bedrooms and for me that was an issue as I use the tv for background noise while I sleep. Also there is a lack of outlets so plan accordingly and perhaps pack a long powerstrip or 2 if you can. Overall a cute house and great location.

great Little House

Property is pretty much how it’s advertised. It’s right in Main Street but remarkably quiet at night. Overall if you’re looking for a simple place in Templeton, this is the spot.

Location, location, location

Perfect location for visiting nearby relatives, Hearst Castle, Avila and Pismo Beach, Paso's Thursday night concerts in the Park, and multiple nearby restaurants within walking distance. No real outdoor space to enjoy and exterior could use some sprucing up, but the interior met all our needs and provided us with a good sleeping spot for our daily nearbby activities.

Location, Location, Location

Main Street rental is located within a short walk to McPhee's Grill a well-known steakhouse in Templeton, a very good Mexican restaurant, Saturday farmer's market at the park, a new wine bar, Wine on Main (entertainment on Friday nights), and a short drive to Trader Joe's. The house has been updated, the outdoor space left a little to be desired. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Cozy Templeton

It was a nice stay in Templeton. The location is ideal if you want to take stroll in this beautiful little town. Restaurants and shops are close by. It was a cozy place for us to stay at with our pups.

My husband and I stayed here with another couple to attend a party at Caelesta Winery. The house didn’t look like much from the outside but the interior was completely updated. It was perfect for our needs and very close to Caelesta. There are many great places to eat within walking distance. The farmers market on Saturday was two blocks away. We would definitely stay here again.

Dads 98th birthday

We were there visit my parents who live in Paso Robles. My dad just celebrated hi 98th birthday. It was a perfect place come back to after a morning visit or meal out with them.
