Located a few blocks from nishi nippori station so very easy to get to. Lots of restaurants in the area. Checking in was quick. Room was spacious and clean. Only one elevator. Free coffee and ice cream in lobby. A bit noisy because of proximity to station. English speaking staff.

The front desk staff was the friendliest we experienced our whole time in Japan. Wang, Monda, and a couple of others whose names we didn’t get. They spoke great English which helped our check in process. The rooms were on the smaller size but this is Japan and we didn’t want to spend our whole budget on the place we just slept. Beds were comfy. Towels were fresh. Super close to so many train stations including the Skyliner to/from NRT. And Nishi-Nippori exit.

Train Tracks a few feet from the hotel!

Do Not stay here if you would like to be able to sleep! Extremely noisy from the train tracks. My water was bubbling from the vibration of the trains passing by.

You are right in the train track, but that was cool seeing them rush past from our balcony. Rooms spacious for Japan. Loved tatami lounge area. Very convenient.

This was our first international trip and the hotel was recommended by a friend who recently stayed at the hotel earlier this year. The front staff was very nice and provided helpful tips to us. Mando spoke English which was a plus and he was really helpful and made our trip very pleasant. The train station is less than 5 mins walk, very close to restaurants and convenience store. Our room was perfect for a family of 4! Thank you for making our stay very joyable.

A western style bed is higher thean16 inches off the ground. There was no dresser to place clothing in. There was only one chair for two people. The noise from four train tracks was constant.

Great check-in - front desk super helpful. Cute little balcony garden patio to sit in. Right in the middle of everything - air conditioning worked great. Near ueno park and easy walk to asakusa. Great food options within two blocks.

As advertised in the hotel website, it is great for train spotting. It comes with some advantages (easy transport) but not as much disadvantages as one may fear (trains stop at midnight and though we heard them they didn’t bother us significantly). Very spacious rooms by Japanese standards and comfortable. Manda, at the front desk, was great!

The hotel is located near to Nishinippori station where you can find plenty of dining options. An aeon supermarket is just next to the hotel. Hotel staff are nice and helpful. For the room, the size may be slightly bigger than usual Tōkyō ones but still a bit difficult to accommodate two luggages in twins room. There was minor stain on the bedding linen but didn’t bother. The overall facility of this hotel maybe a bit old but good enough for short stay. However, it is close to train/metro station so noise in early morning is expected.

Quaint Japanese Hospitality

Wonderful staff and unique neighborhood. If you can tolerate some train noise this is a quaint place to stay near AirPort Express route. My room had a cool little patio which would be fun in warmer weather. Super close to Nishi Nippori JR station.
