Clean hotel and the staff were very respectful and helpful. Train station is right next to hotel, making traveling by train convenience for a lone traveler. The area is very nice and room is larger than most standard Japanese hotels. The morning breakfast buffet was delicious!

The rooms were on the smaller side, which made things tight with luggage. Breakfast was limited compared to some other hotels we’ve stayed in across Japan. We weren’t able to make dinner reservations on site, and there aren’t many restaurants nearby, so we walked into town most evenings (around 15 minutes). The staff were very friendly and transport links were convenient overall.

My biggest complaint is the lighting. The overhead light in the bedroom and bathroom is extremely shadowy and makes it very very difficult to properly see yourself in the mirror. The lights definitely need to be brighter.

Rooms very clean and wonderfully quiet. Stylish design. Balcony in the heart of Tokyo was a lovely bonus. Washbasin area in the bathroom was quite dark with a single downlighter. Lack of room service was a slight disappointment but lots of convenience stores nearby. Japanese Bath was wonderful and a huge highlight!
