Gîte la Coquelourde

Stone house of around 70 m2 located in the heart of the village of Trouhaut, 30km north-west of Dijon. For 4 or 6 people, the cottage is best equipped for your comfort: kitchen with dishwasher, oven, etc., bathroom with washing machine and dryer, living room with fireplace and firewood provided, one bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with two single beds: sheets are provided and beds are made upon arrival.
Small private garden of 20m2 with balcony overlooking the start of the Auxois Valley, barbecue and sun loungers available.

Enjoyable!
We had a lovely stay in a quiet and secluded village, not far from Dijon. It was as portrayed in VRBO. The owner could not be there, but there was a helpful representative who lived nearby. I would recommend it to anyone looking for lodging in this area.

Lovely gite in great location
We stayed in Laurent’s gite for 5 nights. It was perfect for our family of 4. The gite is lovely and Trouhaut is a beautiful, small and peaceful village. It was a great base to explore Dijon, Beaune and everywhere in between. Laurent is also a great host. We were a few hours delayed arriving at the gite, but Laurent was there when we arrived to show us the accommodation and answer any questions. He was also contactable throughout our stay. I’d highly recommend for a relaxed and peaceful vacation.

Perfect!
This gite has everything one could want: an excellent bed, hot water in demand and good water pressure, a washing machine and separate dryer, a well equipped kitchen, a back yard and deck overlooking pastures and trees, and a friendly host. The cottage is very nicely decorated and well constructed and the village is small and quiet. It’s a lovely place to just be, or walk. Many places of interest are with an hours’ drive or less through the beautiful Burgundy countryside. A very high quality accommodation and I will definitely return to stay again next time I am anywhere near it!

I spent a rich and enjoyable time there. The "Gite" is surrounded by beautiful scenery. The fireplace gave me a great experience and mindfulness. I was so happy with it that even a cold morning was very welcome. The kitchen is fully equipped and the laundry machine is easy to operate.

A lovely spot
Compact, but more than big enough for the two of us. Our host Laurent was very helpful and welcoming and we enjoyed his mother's meringues . We were blessed with 6 days of sun and enjoyed relaxing on the balcony admiring the views after days out. Alesia, Fontenay, Beaune and Dijon are all easily reached from Trouhaut.

We stopped over a night on the way to the south of France. This is a pretty cottage, nicely decorated with all necessary appliances in the kitchen, all is perfectly clean.

peacefull and comfortable
great location very peaceful. lovely hosts Racheal and Laurent. fantastic sun trap in the garden and on the balcony .with views over the valley and fields. watching the birds fly about . really quiet .nice place to explore from . facilities were excellent racheal brought over some freshly baked cheese pastries which were delicious .

Excellent place to stay for relaxation and touring the area
We really enjoyed our stay in Trouhaut. The cottage was exactly as pictured and very comfortable for three people. We loved the small village location and it was an easy drive into Dijon and slightly farther to Beaune. The only thing that would have made this place perfect was wifi but we quickly overcame this by visiting the tourist information centres in the cities we visited. It was a great stay and we would visit again.
