Quiet 3 acre Ranch Home with incredible mountain views!!

Welcome to one of the original adobe block, ranch homes in the neighborhood with arguably some of the best mountain views in town! Our cozy 2 bedroom/1 bath main home offers a quiet getaway out of town to guests, while still close enough to several hiking, golfing, cycling, and shopping amenities! Recently updated and remodeled, this home offers a rustic western theme with Spanish adobe block construction, original pine tongue and groove ceilings, and a wonderful wood burning fireplace in the living room. This lovely 3.5 acre property offers countless mature mesquite trees, several saguaros, and breathtaking views of thimble peak and the Catalina mountains. Sip coffee and enjoy the scenery on the front patio during a beautiful sunrise, or spend an evening viewing one of our gorgeous Arizona sunsets off the master bedroom porch.

You can grill on the propane BBQ or just relax with a glass of wine from the neighboring vineyards in Sonoita and Elgin. We are minutes away from numerous outdoor activities to keep visitors entertained year-round: Pristine golf courses such as Arizona National Golf Club (1 mile) and Forty-Niners Country Club (3 miles) offer tee-times throughout the entire year. Great hiking/site seeing/and animal watching locations such as Saguaro National Monument East or Sabino Canyon are a short drive away. Various bike paths surround the Tanque Verde Valley for cycling enthusiasts, as well as Catalina Highway’s bike path that leads to Summerheaven and look out points. For those cyclists who chose to stay off the main roads, Tucson has to offer over 100 miles of 'The Loop.' Please check it out online.

Grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants are all within a five minute drive from the Casita. You can visit all locally owned Fire Truck Brewery, Taco Giro, and Bear Canyon Pizza, see live bands play in the evenings, or sit down for dinner at any of the additional 10 neighboring restaurants within a three mile radius.

In addition, our property includes wireless internet for guests.

The main house is about 150 feet from a separate casita on the property, but feels much further away with vegetation that separates the two. (PLEASE SEE OUR guest home on the property; "Ranch Casita," Property # 824379 for more availability and a reputable review record)

Everything was generally clean, house is fantastic and location & views absolutely beautiful. I have to say supplies were far below expectations. Paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent all inadequate for our short stay. Aside from this, a great place and I would return.

Parking was possible along side the house and in a secure garage. The house was very clean and well stocked with a full appliance kitchen. The dining area was a bit compact, but adequate. Both bedrooms had good lighting, ceiling fans and very comfortable beds. It also has a very good patio with a large table, four cushioned chairs, a gas and charcoal grill. The view from there and the living room of the Santa Catalina Mountains is beautiful. Another four-chair seating area is on the west side of the house - good for sunsets.

Excellent stay. Came with a friend for a hiking trip. Close easy access to the Rincon Mountain district of Saguaro National Park and Mt Lemmon. Close to basics for dining, groceries etc. Private and secluded neighborhood and backyard gives you the perfect blend of nature while not sacrificing proximity to amenities. Stevie was very responsive and helpful and the property was clean and well maintained. Added a bottle of wine which was a thoughtful touch!

10 days in Tucson

This is the 4th VRBO we have rented in the area and is the one we will try to book on our next visit. We found the ranch house to be very comfortable and clean and in a lovely setting. We had good views of the sunrise and the sunset, which we always enjoy in Tucson, as well as the mountains. The main patio was in the shade in the evening and made dining outside very enjoyable. We had many birds, small lizards, ground squirrels, and one coyote to watch. The garage was a bonus - we like to keep our car inside. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant! Bill and Teresa

Amazing Property in North East Tucson

The property is in a great location with incredible views of the foothills/mountains. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the hummingbirds, lizards and other wildlife. The owner was very responsive when we had questions. We will absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful setting

Wow!! So beautiful and soooo clean! Use of the garage was an unexpected bonus. It was probably in the listing and i just missed it. We are birders and had plenty of feathered friends to keep us company in the very private yard. Our only complaint is the bed was a bit soft for our taste. Did I mention how clean it was? Not a speck of dust! Wonderful stay!

Ranch with Spectacular Views

Sunrise and sunset patios with amazing views. Large private outdoor areas, comfortable furnishings indoors and out. Clean and well stocked. Great location for lots of hiking at Sabino Canyon, Saguaro East and Mt Lemmon.

Perfect Location!

Easy drive from the airport. Lots of parks around, the Biosphere 2 and San Xavier del Bac Mission were interesting to visit. House was clean and well maintained – comfy beds, outdoor areas and even laundry available. And what a view -- right out the front door!!Close to shopping and restaurants, if you don’t want to cook. Garage for the car was nice, too.

Quiet get away

Very nice accomodation, has a western country feel to the home. Located on the outskirts Tucson, in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed relaxing and watching the sunset. No problems with the house or the host, everything went smoothly. I would stay there again.

Home on the Range

Very clean and comfortable house, with all the amenities and fantastic views. Chill and grill in a great outdoor yard, staring at the mountains you just hiked. So relaxing. The owner knew of our late arrival and so had the patio lights on for us, with a welcome bottle of wine. Later when we returned home, we realized we left our camera behind, and she quickly responded and saw that it was returned, with our photo memories. My 5- star resort in Tucson. Hope to return again.

Couldn't Be Better

Immaculately clean, superbly equipped, super quiet and a very responsive host. On the first night, we had some "technical difficulties" with the TV. Stevie did everything she could to walk us through the problem but it seemed to be an insurmountable equipment failure. So the very next morning, Stevie went out and bought a brand new smart TV, even larger than the original one, installed it while we were our enjoying our day in Tucson , and we returned to a perfecly functioning TV with a beautiful picture. If there's a better VRBO host than Stevie, we've yet to find one.
