Worst hotel we’ve stayed at in Ubud

Very disappointed with this hotel and do not recommend it. We don’t have incredibly high standards for hotels especially ones that are on the cheap end but we do expect our rooms to be cleaned and the amenities to look like their pictures. This hotel advertises itself to be very beautiful but we were shocked and incredibly disappointed to find the room to be dirty, bugs on the floor and in the bed, holes in the shower wall and floor, a dirty bath mat, damage and uncleanliness to baseboards. We asked the receptionist to clean the floor and change our bath mat. She ended up with a dust pan full of dirt and trash. We were so horrified we knew that our 4 night stay was not going to be worth it. We ended up finding a different hotel to stay at that night and for the reminder of our time in Ubud. Also the location was far from Ubud city center and in a place that taxis struggled to find. Don’t waste your time and money at this hotel.

Ignored dietary allergy - amenities not accurate

Less than impressed with my stay. The room was fine and while I understand there will be insects in a remote location (ants everywhere), there was tile missing in the bathroom and pretty significant damage to other areas. The biggest issue I have with the property is that they **ignored my food allergy** and in doing so I ended up with a terrible reaction the day I was supposed to go on a dive trip. When it was brought to the hotel’s attention, they either didn’t respond or declined to offer any compensation for the inconvenience and derailment of plans. Beyond this, the Wi-Fi never worked while I was on property requiring me to pay for additional cell coverage and the supposed shuttle was not available either time I requested it. Photos of the property seem to be from a previous time.

This is a gem. We wanted to get away from the typical tourist area but still be close enough to it. Tattva delivered all of our expectations. Staff is amazing and attentive. Very friendly and helpful. Resorts is small and quiet. Clean and comfortable. We loved every minute of our stay here.

My stay at Tattva was exceptional. This team became like family in an instant and would do absolutely anything to make my experience at the Resort as comfortable and memorable as possible. Tresna was an absolute angel on earth!! Dewa Ayu made one of the best Chicken curries I have ever had! 😊 I also shared a very sacred experience with both girls making Canang Sari in the jungle, and met the gorgeous Mini. ❤️ This experience was totally unforgettable, along with the morning yoga with Vivek who was a wonderful teacher!!! Iwan and Wahyu also made some yummy food for lunch and breakfast and showed so much warmth and true Balinese hospitality!! The rooms were incredibly comfortable - spacious with a lovely bed and linen!! The location was spot on - away enough from the hustle and bustle!!! I am so grateful for my time at this gorgeous location with the A Team!!! They all work so hard, with so much love and care and kindness poured into everything they did. An experience I will never forget and one that I hope to re-live very soon. I feel utterly blessed for my stay at this heavenly property surrounded by such gorgeous souls!!! ❤️
