Oh, I did so much searching! I wanted to be walking distance to mostly everything. We were greeted and given our instructions for entry and what nots, then it was off to races. Room is elegant, clean, spacious, bed comfy, spacious bathroom with hot water and good pressure, ac and heat, breakfast brought to the room every morning (you choose what time), tho after the 3rd day you could really have a different choice but none the less, great. The units and alley are actually pretty quiet. We took a water taxi from the airport straight to the alley. Google maps works great, just go to navigation and "avoid ferry". They even arranged a lil something for our anniversary (lil extra) and reserved a nice dinner for my husband and I. Def worth staying here. Def recommend

The manager of the property was great and very friendly. Room was cleaned everyday and always left in a neat condition. We felt very safe when staying at the property. It was like a 5* place with impeccable interiors. Was initially weary when we saw some of the reviews but it was well beyond our expectations and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay here!

The checkin took longer than expected . There is no one on site to assist us. We had to wait for someone to open the main door for us for more than 10 mins as the keypad didnt work. The unit looks good and newly renovated

Amazing experience a different type of hotel, very personalized attention, Staff was amazing, Davide was very helpful in how you can move in the city and how to get to the airport in the early morning. Very close to St Mark square and very secure. We can return in our next trip to Venice.

We were given a surprise upgrade from a luxury room to a suite which was fantastic. The instructions given to find the property and to access it were easy to follow etc and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing and we would definitely recommend staying here.

This was our second stay at San Maurizio and the room was Absolutely Fabulous. Communication with the host was excellent and we were greeted and shown to our room on arrival. The breakfast in our room was Great annd served to us by very friendly staff, and exactly how we remembered it. The smart TV allowed us to watch our current favourite on Netflix. We had access to free WiFi . The area was Our favourite and within easy walking distance of the some of the main highlights of Venice. We shall definitely be booking again. Amazing stay in Venice!

We loved our stay in San Maurizio Luxury suites - it was a massive room and very high quality spec - in a fab location less than a 10min walk to St Marks Square. The breakfast brought to the room was an extra nice touch. Plus the staff very friendly and helpful, and even collected us from the boat dock at the end of the street when we first arrived! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at San Maurizio Luxury suites last weekend. The staff were so helpful in advance, helping us find the location. The room was stunning, even nicer than the photos. The room was spotless, bed very comfy and we loved the addition of robes and slippers. We were surprised to see there was a huge jacuzzi bath which was the perfect way to unwind after a day of walking around. Having breakfast delivered every morning by Gala was a lovely touch. The area and building felt safe and it was very quiet at night. We had an incredible stay and would recommend to our friends and family. Location wise, there is a water bus stop 2 minutes away and Accademia is just on the doorstep.

This bed and breakfast is in a great location, close to everything, yet quiet. The room had all the necessities, and was very clean. The staff is helpful and attentive, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. It would be nice if the room had some storage space to unpack suitcase, but it worked out without.

The room was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. It's more like a B&B than a hotel, as it's basically a Venetian flat that's been split into rooms - there's no reception but the owners organised for someone to meet us at the property. The breakfast is delivered to your room each morning and is very substantial. The area is quiet but an easy walk to all the main areas. An issue that can easily be fixed - there is no storage whatsoever, which is a huge miss when the room is so large! There was a thing coming down from the ceiling to hang clothes but that was out in the open and looked a bit stupid. A small wardrobe could easily fit in the corner of the room, or change the sidetables to ones with drawers, or add a dressing table. We had to live out of our suitcase/bag, which made the room quite messy. The worst issue we had was that air conditioning didn't go lower than 20 degrees and it was very warm in the room - the screen said the indoor temperature was 24.5 degrees and it only went down to 23! (we travelled when it was over 30 degrees outside) I told the owner about this and asked if they had a fan we could use, the response was no and that the air conditioning had always been enough. I was so disappointed in this, if a customer tells you of an issue, it should be taken seriously. We struggled to sleep because it was so warm and I expected better service than this for how much we paid for this property! For this reason, I wouldn't stay here again.

It is more like a BnB than a hotel, nice breakfast delivered to the room in the morning. The room was clean and spacious. The shower is behind the bed, which we liked because it was quirky and different (but may be awkward if you prefer privacy in the shower).

Service is exceptional. Thanks to David came to meet us at the water bus station which saved so much time to navigate through the complex streets of Venice. He was so helpful with our questions and provide additional information of attractions and dinning. Breakfast was outstanding. Location is very close to main attractions and at the same time very quiet. I would stay here next time again for sure.

Great stay! Rooms are as advertised, size, decor and AC. But the bed was two beds pushed together. Breakfast was delivered to the room every morning and was quite large. Very walkable to Saint Marks Square.

Outstanding! Would recommend! 4*+ in my opinion

Fantastic location, close to St Mark’s Square and other sights but just out of the hustle & bustle which was perfect. Easy to find with amenities close by. The room was exactly like the photos and was immaculate! We have high standards and these were exceeded. Great communication from the staff via WhatsApp & we were met on arrival at the dock at the bottom of the street. Breakfast was a huge surprise, both in quantity and quality as well as the fact it is served in your room at your requested time. Overall, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I would say this is at least 4 star accommodation.
