The room was terrific & better than I expected. Was given a nice quiet room on the 4th floor on the side of the building so it shielded all the traffic noise on Douglas. Area around the hotel felt unsafe at night due to the disastrous homeless situation in downtown Victoria. Front desk staff were very welcoming & helpful.

The check in time 4 pm is a bit late and if you come earlier they want to charge you $25. the idea of paid parking at an outside not monitored parking lot is not good as you can park in the street between 8pm and 8 am for free. It is like they are just trying to make more money on top of the cost of the room. Just my opinion
