Parfait!

Il s'agit de notre 2e sĂ©jour dans le bel appartement d'HĂ©lĂšne oĂč tout est fait pour se sentir chez soi. L'emplacement est idĂ©al dans Villeneuve, mais aussi pour accĂ©der Ă  Avignon et aux alentours. Le logement parfait en tous points, chaleureux, douillet et propre. Nous reviendrons!

The apartment is as the photos show, spacious and well appointed art work. Has the classic stone spiral stairs to 1st floor, as always the steps are to small. A small balcony for 2, over looking a busy local bistro for locals, a little loud up until 11:30 usually. Unfortunately, the apartment lists as air conditioned, but is only in 1 bedroom, a fan for the other bedroom. With all the windows upon, you can get a breeze thru that is sufficient. Parking is “The Game” everyone plays locals & visitors alike. The only real issue we had was with the TV, a very complicated affair. Our Host had to send someone to show us the process & change the remote batteries. But, still had a stubborn streak as to when it wished to be active. Otherwise a good place for two. In the middle of Villeneauve, just a classic.

Apartment mitten im Ort

Die Wohnung liegt nicht barrierefrei im ersten Stock in sehr zentraler Lage. Es gibt etliche CafĂ©s und Restaurants in unmittelbarer NĂ€he, die bis ca. 1 Uhr geöffnet sind. Der Balkon eignet sich eher zum Draufsellen, es sind aber auch StĂŒhle vorhanden. Ein Schlafzimmer Ist klimatisiert. Parken ist in der NĂ€he auf einem zentralen Parkplatz möglich, man muss aber ein paar Minuten laufen. Zum Ein- und Ausladen kann man kurz auf dem Gehsteig parken. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut, wir konnten ĂŒber einen SchlĂŒsselsafe in die Wohnung. Wenn wir wieder einmal in die Gegend kommen, wĂŒrden wir die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen.

Beautiful apartment

We loved our stay in Helene’s apartment. Such a beautiful authentic apartment in the heart of Villeneuve. The apartment has everything you need, Villeneuve is a gorgeous village with all amenities close by. It’s an easy 10 minutes on the bus to the heart of Avignon. Helene was a wonderful host, so very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend staying here as a base to visit Provence.

Schöne Wohnung inmitten der Altstadt

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Villeneuve. Die Wohnung war schön eingerichtet und mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Direkt vor der TĂŒr lagen BĂ€cker, Lebensmittelladen oder Bistro. Nach Avignon konnte man schnell und gĂŒnstig mit dem Bus gelangen; und nach der geschĂ€ftigen Stadt in Villeneuve gemĂŒtlich den Tag ausklingen lassen. Also ein sehr angenehmes Urlaubsdomizil. Au revoir.

Lovely apartment

A perfect location for our time in Provence. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. There was free parking a few minutes down the street and the #5 bus was an easy trip into Avignon. The flea and produce markets in Villenuve were the best that we'd encountered in our travels and a lovely little grocery across from the apartment. The locals are friendly and helpful. The only reason we didn't give it a 5 star is that it's also situated on a main street in Villeneuve and next to a restaurant that's open 7 days a week. Wouldn't be so much of an issue if you kept the windows closed. Merci beaucoup Helene.

The apartment is located in the medieval center of Villeneuve-les-Avignon with restaurants, bars, bakeries and other shops just a short walk away. The flat was clean and the host was accommodating and easy to communicate with. Will definitely come back !!!

Schönes Appartment mitten in Villeneuve-les-Avignon

Ein sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in einer schönen Lage mitten in der Altstadt von Villeneuve-les-Avignon. Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung in einer großzĂŒgigen Wohnung mit 2 Schlafzimmern. KĂŒche, Bad und Wohnzimmer sind gerĂ€umig und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage in der Mitte der Altstadt ist sehr schön. Es gibt fußlĂ€ufig BĂ€cker, Supermarkt und viele Restaurants. Einen Stellplatz fĂŒr das Auto gibt es in ca. 150m Entfernung am Rande der Altstadt. Vielen Dank nochmal fĂŒr den schönen Urlaub.

Schöne Wohnung im Herzen von Villeneuve-les-Avignon

Sehr schön eingerichtete, gerĂ€umige Wohnung mit kleinem Balkon. Es ist fast alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Die Lage hat den Reiz, ein Teil des Lebens von Villeneuve zu sein, Bars, CafĂ©s kleine EinzelhandelsgeschĂ€fte, Wochenmarkt unmittelbar vor der HaustĂŒr. Trotzdem ist es eine vergleichsweise ruhige Lage, da der Verkehr ĂŒberschaubar ist. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es im nĂ€heren Umkreis ausreichend. Die Wohnung ist ideal fĂŒr Menschen, die es mögen, ein Teil des Lebens in Villeneuve zu sein. DarĂŒber hinaus ist Villeneuve ein sehr schöner Ort mit einem typisch französischen Eigenleben in unmittelbarer NĂ€he von Avignon auf der anderen RhĂŽneseite. Die Vermieterin ist freundlich, unkompliziert, hilfsbereit und bei Problemen entgegenkommend. Empfehlenswert!

Wonderful visit to Provence!

The apartment was the perfect location from which to explore Avignon and the surrounding region. It was clean, well stocked with kitchen supplies and nice linens, and larger than I expected based on the photos. We had a very comfortable stay as a family of 4. We particularly enjoyed staying in Villeneuve-les-Avignon, which had the feel of a small town with all the essentials (boulangerie, marché, restaurants) without the bustle of a big city. I would definitely recommend this little gem for anyone coming to the region!

Wonderful apartment in Villeneuve/Avignon

This is one of the best VRBOs that my family has ever stayed in. The pictures on the listing do not do it justice. Stylishly furnished apartment in the historic town of Villeneuve, right in the middle of sights, restaurants, etc. Extremely well furnished with high end appliances and furniture. We could have easily stayed here a month. Helen was extremely helpful and friendly. Villeneuve is a short bus ride, or 20 min walk across the bridge to Avignon, and is a great place to be based in. A little less busy and noisy than Avignon, but still plenty to do. The market on Thursday is one of the more beautiful we've seen in Europe.

Beautiful 2 bedroom (double beds only) apartment on first floor with little balcony. The rooms are very large and well appointed (except for a bread knife). Main bedroom has A/C and Helene has fans for the second bedroom and sitting room. Overlooks a square with a restaurant and shaded by a large tree and with lots of colourful pots. A multitude of restaurants are within five minutes walk. The amazing thing is that although very busy with people and vehicles coming and going, about 10.30 to 11.00 everyone goes home and it is quiet and peaceful until 7.00am. We really enjoyed our stay here.
