You will feel miles away from the real world gazing over fresh white railings that surround large, expansive decks to offer wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean and Back Bay! Step inside to enjoy spacious living areas allow for relaxation and precious family time. Three master bedrooms for multiple families. Direct beach access directly across the street and a beautiful private in-ground pool & hot tub add to your enjoyment. A spacious kitchen and outside barbecue allows your master chef to prepare meals with ease to serve on the brand new outdoor seating area or on any one of the Adirondack chairs.

Visit Virginia Beach boardwalk with just a 20-minute drive from the private Sandbridge area. Whatever your idea of a perfect vacation is, you'll find it at Chillaxin.

During peak season starting mid May - mid September enjoy weekly rentals starting Saturday to Saturday. Any other time, enjoy a 3 night minimum stay depending on the season. We're happy to work with you on check in and check out times to make your vacation perfect! Small fee applies to early check in/late check out when available.

Keyless Entry for all guests - There is no need to pick up or drop off keys! Owner will provide code just prior to check in date. Property management services available 24 hours a day.

Hot tub open year round. Pool is scheduled to open for the 2026 season on April 1 and is scheduled to close in mid October. We can be flexible with these dates, just ask.

Price includes linen rentals for all reservations. Linen rental includes beds to be made, 1 bath towel/washcloth per person, 2 kitchen pot holders, 5 bath mats and 6 hand towels. Final price also includes 15.5% local and state tax. VRBO requires a card on file for damage protection. Please be aware your card may be charged for property damage up to $5,000. Your card will not be charged unless damage has been confirmed by both parties. Above and beyond the mandatory property damage protection/security deposit options, VRBO will offer additional, optional trip insurance to cover your stay in case you need to cancel close to the check in day. We strongly encourage you to purchase this low-cost insurance. Cox preferred high speed internet throughout house and pool area.

Check in is at 4 p.m. and checkout is at 10 am.

You'll can walk, bike or ride in a golf cart around Sandbridge. To get around Virginia Beach metro area, you'll need a car or Uber/Lyft, which are also available.

Max occupancy is 21 at any given time.

No animals/pets allowed.

Nice location and great space for families

We traveled with a range of ages and this space was excellent for each person. The 3 floors allowed for us to not be on top of each other and the multiple king bedrooms allowed for all the adults to have an en suite room. The stairs could be challenging for those with mobility issues but everyone in our party handled them well.

House had a great layout for our girls getaway. Upstairs was spacious with a great table and lounge space for socializing and meals. Check in process was easy - although we requested an early check in (3 hours) and it was expensive so opted not to do it. Adequate fridge and kitchen storage space. Nicely decorated and quality was great for the price.

Sandbridge Vacation

Had a great time with multigenerational family! Plenty of room throughout the house. Upon entry, the house had not been cleaned. However, after a call to the owner, they sent out the cleaner and she resolved within an hour. Great location, not a lot to do off season, but we had plenty of tv’s, games, etc. I would recommend.

Great family reunion

The house was a great base for our family reunion. The top deck is so nice for both sun rise and sun set. Beach is right across the street. I loved how many baking items were in the kitchen. (stand mixer, various glass baking dishes) Communicating with Corrine was fast and easy when we had questions.

Great location and close to the beach. Nothing fancy with the house
.no extras. Very adequate and clean. Lots of kitchen appliances but no spices or basic cooking staples and terrible coffee selection

Wonderful house Great Location

We enjoyed our stay with a family of 11 at Chillaxin for ODU graduation. It's a reasonable distance to the boardwalk. You definitely need a car to get around. The house is fully stocked with kitchen items, games and linens. The bbq, pool and spa were clean and ready to use. The owner was responsive and friendly. I would consider definitely renting again.

Gorgeous

This house is so beautiful; we would eat breakfast on the porch every morning and look at the ocean, it was wonderful. The beds were very comfy, the sheets were nice, it was great to not have to worry about bringing shower towels. There were so many kitchen appliances that we were able to use with no problem. I have no complaints at all and would totally rent it again!

Excellent Home, Great Experience w/Owner

My husband and I recently hosted a post-elopement weekend celebration in Sandbridge, putting friends and family up in three houses in the area. Ours (Chillaxin) was one of the nicest, with everything in the house exactly as described/pictured; everyone who stayed with us commented on how nice the accommodations were. Corrine herself was incredibly communicative, reaching out to me when there'd been a booking mixup, and then checking in with a postcard and information packet in advance of our stay and later a handwritten thank-you note. If you're on the fence, I'd definitely recommend you book this property.

Family Beach Vacation

Every year we make the trip to Sandbridge for our family beach vacation and have stayed at different places however Chillaxin was our favorite. The location of the house to the beach is terrific - the public access pathway is directly across the street from the house and the wrap around decks on both levels allowed for beautiful views of the ocean and beach. Pool and hot tub were a plus. The kitchen is fully stocked with great appliances and pots which made it super convenient for making big family dinners. The owner was very friendly and super responsive to our questions and issues. Could use some minor fixes / upgrades after normal wear and tear of renting out the house throughout the summer but otherwise would highly recommend.
