The resort looks beautiful in photos and videos, which is why we chose it for our family trip with two children. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the expectations.
The boats advertised as transportation around the resort do not operate at all, and this is not clearly communicated. The tram is extremely slow and unreliable. On check-out day, many guests waited over 20 minutes and eventually had to walk to the lobby with luggage, which we also had to do.
The room was renovated and clean, which was a plus. However, the large TV is essentially useless. There are only limited Live TV channels, all streaming services are blocked, screen mirroring does not work, and the hotel does not even offer movies for purchase.
Restaurant prices are unreasonably high for the quality. A kids’ burger was USD 21, a basic hot dog USD 22, and a non-alcoholic piña colada USD 12, pasta $43. Restaurants are also not consistently open, often leaving very limited dining options.
Comfortable sunbeds by the pool or lagoon cost over USD 230 and look old. Free sunbeds are hard plastic and uncomfortable. Overall, the resort feels outdated, and the pricing does not match the level of comfort or service, especially for families.
