Great getaway

We had a great long weekend. Everything was clean and the personal touches made us feel very welcome. I would like to come back and stay again. We took a couple of hikes while in the area and the cabin was a great place to come back to and relax.

Relaxing cabin with beautiful view

Nice sized comfortable cabin that was so relaxing to stay at. We had bonfires during the evening and coffee on the porch watching the fog lift from the valley in the morning. Everything from comfortable beds, gas grill for dinners, Wi-Fi and beautiful sunsets to use of the kayaks (for a reasonable fee) to float on the lake.

Perfect spot for many reasons!

This house is the perfect spot for anyone looking to spend days on Cave Run Lake and evenings relaxing and recharging! Five minutes from Long Bow Marina, and the driveway is manageable to navigate a truck and trailer for parking. The house is well-priced for the quality, and everything we needed was there. The host was quick to respond and helpful in every way we needed.

2nd time staying here. Love this cabin. Owner goes way above to make it feel homey. Basket of goodies were greatly appreciated. Enjoyed the beautiful views during day and campfire at night. Very clean and well stocked with anything you need!! Already talking about coming back for visit 3!!!

Gramp Camp 2025

This is our 2nd stay at Clifftop Cottage for our annual "Gramp Camp" trip." The grandkids love this place! Beautiful veiw from firepit/picnic area, gameroom,with pool table, table and chairs great for our crafting, has indoor/outdoor games. Great for adults or kids. Kayak rentals, fish cleaning station. Our Cottage Stay

We celebrated our third year anniversary at the cottage and it was honestly one of the best places we've ever stayed at. Everything was perfect from the beautifully decorated cottage to the flowers.cupcakes. and cards that ( with my husband's help) were waiting for me. The view from the back deck is breathtaking and peaceful. Even though there are chickens and a rooster nearby (which we loved listening to while outdoors) we couldn't hear anything while indoors. Debbie is the perfect hostess and we would definitely recommend her property.

Birthday hiking trip

We have stayed in lots of cabins , some a lot fancier than this, but this was the best stocked kitchen we have ever had in our travels. The host was super helpful and replied quickly. Left us a basket full of goodies and even had a Birthday card for me. Everything was clean, and well maintained. If I was pressed to say I didn’t like something about the cabin, the only negative I could say would be that I wasn’t thrilled about having to go outside to get to the basement. But I knew about that before booking and booked anyway and would book again! Highly recommend this place . Hoping to stay at her other property next year!

Gramp Camp 2024

Every summer we do Gramp Camp with all our grandkids. CliffTop cottage was perfect! They range in age from 15 to 5 which is hard to please but the gameroom had something for each age! Also offers a fullsize table & chairs where we did craft & scrapbooks with ease. The kitchen is very well stocked! The Kayak rentals were a bit hit with the older kids launching them just a couple miles away! The views are beautiful! The firepit/picnic area is great! One of the cleanest rentals we stayed in. It was so fun to share the record albums with the grandkids! We made great memories here! We went to the Twin knob beach, did some fishing & kayaking, but mostly enjoyed being at the cottage. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Trip of a life time!

We had just finished a two month trip to the west coast and the National Parks, visiting family and friends. After reviewing this property when planning our trip I knew it was where I wanted to spend our last 3 days of out trip. It looked relaxing and like home. It was everything I had hoped for. Debbie was wonderful from the beginning when I first contacted her with questions and then again when I had more questions. When we couldn't figure out the gas fireplace, I called and a short time later help was there and started it without a problem. There are so many thoughtful things around the cottage to make your stay memorable, We hope to come back again and get to make a fire and have s'mores. There are just too many things that make this home wonderful. A must stay if in area.

Excellent Getaway

It’s a shame I can’t give more than 5 star rating! The cottage was spotless clean and decorated absolutely darling. My husband and I spent 2 nights and our son, daughter in law stayed 1 night with us. 3 grandchildren drove up and Saturday afternoon and we grilled out before they went back home Saturday night. We didn’t leave the cabin as we just wanted a getaway from the city. We go to the Cave Run area all the time for day activities and stay overnight occasionally. Debbie is a sweetheart who not only says she is a phone call away, she truly is available at the drop of a hat. We will stay at Debbies cottage many more times in the future! The outdoor area is fantastic by the way. Thank you Debbie for providing us with such a delightful cottage.
