The room we had was of generous proportions and we were on 8th floor with a view out to the harbour. If could fault it was because the bathroom didn't have any hooks to hang things on and it didn't seem to have an exhaust system for when the shower was running.

The room was clean and tidy. Reception staff were very helpful. The restaurant staff were mostly very friendly and kind but one younger make staff member on the cash register was hostile and disinterested when we went to pay for our meals. We dined in the restaurant twice and would have gone back but he ruined our stay. He needs a customer service refresher course!!

Oaks is a charming hidden gem in Wellington, conveniently located and easy on the wallet. The staff are incredibly friendly, with Sophia standing out as a shining example of care and excellent customer service. It’s always my go-to spot whenever I visit Wellington. The place is simple, clean, efficient, and perfectly situated. Highly recommended!

We stayed one night at the Oaks Wellington, the hotel is located in city center making it easy to explore everything. the staff were super friendly and accommodating, they allowed us to park and check in early so we could explore the city. They also upgraded us to a city view room. Room was clean and nice with complimentary tea in the room. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best breakfasts I had in New Zealand large spread with lots of options. Great stay, will stay here again when in Wellington
