First time staying in Leavenworth and we wanted to be downtown so we booked at Loge. Upon arrival we were surprised at our room. My husband is disabled and the low furniture was going to prove to be an issue. I didn't realize this when I booked. I talked to Osi (front desk person) and she was able to move us to a more suitable room, making our stay GREAT! One thing that was a Con for us was the lack of Tissue (Kleenex) in the room. With the cold weather, coming back to the room and having no tissues was an interesting situation. We had to go the local grocer to buy our own box of tissue. (I realize this is minor but still felt there should be a box in the room). The room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the hot water and beverage options very much. Another thing that was a Con for us was the TV. They provide a Fire TV and if you don't have a logon or know anything about Fire TV it's difficult to use. We were able to navigate it to a point but I kept thinking how awful it would be for someone who didn't. We were not able to get any local TV stations which could have proved helpful with the weather conditions we were experiencing. (snow and cold in January). Overall, we enjoyed our stay downtown and would book again with Loge knowing now what to expect. AND our dog loved it too! The staff at the cafe was always nice and friendly and the bowl of water provided for the dogs was super appreciated.
