The room was advertized with a double bed and a single bed but it has a double and bed settee. There was no bedding on the bed settee when we arrived. We rang reception and they brought the beddimg but just dropped it on the bed we had to make it ourselves. Only one set of towels in the bathroom.

Room was lovely and bigger than I expected and even had sea view. Staff were friendly when we checked in. Hotel is situated great for visiting The Playhouse. We would definitely stay here again.

Large sea view room. Clean and comfortable. Visited out of season so no problem with traffic or customer noise. Great breakfast cooked to order. Staff very helpful. Good value.

Staff were polite throughout our visit. Our room was in a good position we could see the coast. The room could do with a bit of TLC. We were in a prime point for the town and other eateries. We were surprised tea or coffee were not part of the breakfast we had included with our booking,so had to pay extra .

The hotel was excellent, the room was big with a very comfortable bed, very clean and bright with a lovely sea view. The staff are so friendly and helpful, we had a meal in the restaurant which was outstanding. Very happy to recommend and would use again.

A good experience; breakfast was particularly good. The only issue was that although I had chosen the "pay at hotel" booking option, three attempts were made by the hotel to charge the card I had used to make the reservation. This was not in accordance with normal procedure, and the card-issuer quite rightly declined these non-authorised payments. I settled the payment in person, as normal, at the hotel.

The room was lovely and clean, the breakfast was great. The only reason i stopped at that particular hotel is because it had a bar . But i got back to the hotel at 9.10 pm and was told they shut the bar ,which ruined my stay.

access to top floor was not suitable for oap, too many stairs with no help from staff with luggage. Dining area/ bar closes very early and with erratic times. Room was very good, clean and well aired. Shower was a bit weak but hot. Food was acceptable
