Check-Out Time Please check out at the time specified in your booking. Late check-outs are subject to a fee of $35/hour, with a minimum charge of 1 hour.
Early Check-Ins Early check-ins are not guaranteed but may be accommodated upon request. Please inform us in advance; a small fee may apply.
Quiet Hours To respect our neighbors and other guests, please keep noise levels down between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. We have noise monitoring detectors.
No Parties or Unauthorized Guests Parties are not allowed. Unauthorized guests are prohibited. Any additional guests must be approved in advance and are subject to an extra fee of $30/night per person.
Parking: Please plan as you only have ONE PARKING SPOT. If you park on the street please check the city website for parking bans during the winter time or contact us for more information.
Please note, street parking is available; kindly read posted signs as we are not responsible for tickets. 1 vehicle can park on the premises, and additional parking is at the guest's discretion.
Property Cleanliness Please leave the property in a reasonable state. Excessive rubbish or messes may result in an extra cleaning fee.
Kitchen & Cooking Please clean up after using the kitchen. Ensure all dishes are washed, and dispose of food waste properly.
Linens & Stains We provide fresh, white linens for your stay. To help us maintain their quality, please:
- Remove makeup before going to bed. Makeup stains (especially foundation and mascara) can be difficult to remove. - Avoid placing dirty luggage, food, or drinks on the bedding.
Ensure pets (if permitted) do not get on the bed if their paws are dirty. Stained linens will incur a replacement fee. If sheets, pillowcases, or towels are excessively stained and cannot be restored, a charge will apply.
Eviction Policy Any violation of these house rules may result in eviction and a penalty fee of a minimum of $150. We have noise monitoring devices that track volume levels but do not record conversations. A violation of house rules may result in immediate termination of your stay without a refund.

How close is Modern Haven | Steps to Downtown to the airport?
This apartment is 6.5 mi (24-min drive) away from the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson Intl. Airport (YWG) airport, the closest popular airport to the property.
Property was clean, modern, and well appointed. Central location, 5 min walk to grocery store, ~ 30 min walk to The Forks. Nice bistro nearby. On a busy street but noise wasn't bad. Only downside was the climb up 36 stairs to reach the unit!
We really liked the apartment; it had all the amenities we needed for our three week stay. The kitchen was well supplied so that we could cook whenever we stayed in for a relaxing day. The location was perfect for us to get to wherever we wanted to go. Having a Safeway minutes walk away was very handy, as was the bistro half a block down the road.The landlord was very quick to respond to our requests and helpful information was provided.Anyone interested in renting this apartment should be aware that it is on the top floor and there are a lot of stairs to carry luggage or groceries up. Hard for elderly folk!The apartment is quite new and is very thoughtfully decorated.While there are a brand new washer and dryer, I missed an iron and ironing board, especially since we were there for three weeks and had to do some laundry.You should also be aware that although a number of streaming platforms are available, there is no access to tv programmes. Fortunately I had an HDMI cable with me and sports apps on my iPad as my husband wanted to watch tennis and baseball.So - a great apartment, very well stocked, and carefully planned to fulfill nearly all needs for a really pleasant stay.
