Ed & Gloria's - Oceanfront

This cozy single story home has 2 bedrooms with full bath plus a bedroom/den (The Art Room) with 1/2 bath. Master: King bed with ocean view; Second Bedroom: 2 twins, 'Art Room' has one twin and 1/2 bath. Fantastic views from living room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room and Art Room. Relax by wood fire (wood mother nature at her best regardless of the weather. Open floor plan. Wonderfully appointed home and completely stocked kitchen. Lovely oceanfront lawn and beach chairs. Nice gas BBQ to grill up dinner (maybe some fresh fish??) Beach toys. Cement steps off the lush lawn right down to our flat sandy beach perfect for long walks, dogs, kids, sandcastles, kite flying, surf fishing, rock hunting, or just sitting a reading a book or watching whales, seals and sea lions, pelicans and shorebirds of all kinds. You only need to bring your clothes and what you want to eat. We take care of the rest. Washer/Dryer and garage. Extra refrigerator in garage for longer stays. New flat screen TV. WiFi provided.
No Motorhomes. No boats. No trailers. Strictly enforced.

Home away from home!

This is our 4th or 5th stay. We stay here because it is clean, cozy and our dogs know it as theirs. When we are on the beach and say, “go home” -they know where to go! (There’s a little bit of cobwebs happening this visit- not enough to quibble about.) There weren’t any residents in them! The ease of access to the beach allows my wife the ability to enjoy it. My mother in law loves it too! 2 Adirondack chairs on the lawn for the sunset show is the only thing this place is missing! We will be back again and again!

Great Getaway

Great cozy property right on the beach. One block from Highway 101, but you never hear it. Great location for day trips to Yachats, Florence and Newport. Loved this property!

Wonderful Seaside Getaway

Being just steps away from the beach was perfect. Not to mention the views from inside with the huge windows looking out over the waves. It was comfortable and close enough to town amenities via yachats or waldport...but far enough away to feel like I got away from town. I would definitely stay again! again

Beautiful Location, Great Management

My daughter and I stayed at Ed and Gloria's for a much needed relaxing trip and to celebrate our birthdays. Communication with property management was exceptional. The house is very clean, and the beach is right outside the back door! Easy access down to beach. Perfect sand and area for walking! The home is truly a "home", and a touching family "time capsule" of another place and time. We will be back! Thank you.

Perfect location for relaxing beach getaway

This was the perfect house for our mom’s and adult daughter’s + baby trip. The beach was steps away and the access was limited to the very few neighbors. Quiet and secluded. Super fun 70’s decor! Not sure I’d bring toddlers or very young kids as there are vintage decor items. Beds were comfy, the kitchen was great - highly recommend!

Fishing with granddaughters

It’s outdated but really cute. The access to the beach is wonderful! The only thing that we didn’t understand about the house was where the third bedroom was located. It took us a while to find it! Maybe that rooms location would be good for renters? After finding it we couldn’t get any of our granddaughters to sleep out there. They called it the kidnap room. All in all it was good and we had a good time. Caught a lot of fish and crab.

Quiet, peaceful and clean!!

It is a very clean property it passed the uv light test! It is so nice! There are all kinds if things there to make your stay better! Things you don’t think about! Very generous!
