The larger market town, Wetherby, is 7 miles west with a range of shops and eateries, or the walled city of York is 7.5 miles in the other direction.

The double-height dining space creates a grand place for eating and the exposed brick wall adds character and charm. Full-height double doors flood the area with light, but of an evening you can pull the period feature sliding shutters along their tracks for a cosier feel. The lounge area is also cosy, with a soft, deep sofa to sink into to chat or watch TV.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. The light and spacious master bedroom is on a mezzanine level with a glass balcony looking down over the living area. the bed in this room is a super king and made by one of the best bed manufacturers in the country, so ensuring a good nights sleep. The other room is a French antique double with a unique bedstead. Completing the accommodation is the contemporary bathroom with a separate shower and bath.
Outside, there is a lovely patio area with seating, which is great for a spot of al fresco dining. This is situated to the left of the owners' driveway and garden. There is off-road parking for up to two cars to the front of the property.
