The booking was cancelled by the hotel as it was being closed to the public because they were taking in Ukranian refugees. Money is to be refunded in 10 to 14 days which is unacceptable as a replacement booking cost me over £20 more for the dame period. I will not be using Best Western Hotels again.

Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Limited food choice as bar menu only. Hotel tired and needs investment. Good value.

I was very pleased with the staff, the room (220) and the bar meal. However, my sleep was disturbed on several occasions by a barking dog in a room opposite mine. I was unaware that the hotel had become pet-friendly, if I was advised of this when I checked in I would have requested a room away from pets.

Hi Ian Many thanks for your feedback and please accept my apologies as looking at your reservation we should not of had any dogs within that bedroom block as we keep dogs in a different area of the hotel
