Emily House Abertamy - Welcome at Hana's

Our cottage is located in the quiet place Abertamy, Douha 202, 362 35, only 27 KM from Karlovy Vary. Abertamy is ideal for winter and summer holidays. Nearby there are several ski resorts - Plešivec (Plessenberg) Boží Dar (God Gave), Klínovec (Keilberg), Oberwiesenthal, Pernink and others. Some ski resorts offer children's ski schools, children's ski lifts and "magic carpets". In the village of Abertamy you are near the cross-country ski run "Skimagistrale Erzgebirge". The summer is fantastic for hiking and cycling, there are hundreds of forest trails and quiet village streets, and of course, where there are cross-country ski runs, you can go from spring to autumn. My favorite season for cycling and hiking is August to October, the air smells of "Indian Summer", everywhere are blueberries and if you bring a paper bag you can pick mushrooms and then prepare something good in our kitchen. Mushroom collecting is a must in the Czech Republic :-)

At the end of 2016 we have completely renovated our house, it is new and modern equipped. The house is very bright and offers a breathtaking view over the ski resort Plešivec (Plessberg). The house can accommodate 1-7 people in 3 bedrooms with a total of 6 beds with new high quality mattresses and damask linen, downstairs in the living room is a comfortable sofa bed, where up to two people can sleep. I can prepare for you a cot with blanket, pillows and sheets - all in white cotton.

In our house there are two toilets and a bathroom with bath, shower and washing machine. The new towels and bath towels from thick white cotton will be there for you.

We have a good funzzionierende and quiet gascentral heating and a fireplace. A large basket of wood is prepared for guests next to the fireplace.

Right at our house two cars can park and on the street are also parking spaces. If there is too much snow in the streets in winter, you park on the central, well-lit car park in the middle of the city. To the house belongs a small plot with terrace, garden furniture and sandbox for the little ones.

The range of sporting and cultural activities is truly inexhaustible - skiing, cross-country skiing, snow kite, snow tubing, then in the summer cycling, hiking, climbing on the rocks. You can take the historic railway in Oberwiesenthal, or visit the many observation towers in the Ore Mountains. The golf courses in the surroundings of Karlovy Vary can be reached in max. 30 minutes. I recommend you to visit Karlsbad (20 minutes away), Franzensbad, Mariánské Lázně, and the historical towns of Loket and Becov. The charming little town Horní Blatná (plates) is only a couple KM away. In Horni Blatna is my favorite restaurant Faustuv Dvur. In Jáchymov is a small and pleasant water park Agricola.
I recommend the restaurant and butcher shop with us in Abertamy, there can be fresh, good and very cheap lunch - beef and lamb comes from the local farm, as well as milk and other products. If you order the takeaway, you do not need to cook. If you like to prepare the dishes yourself, our kitchen offers everything you could need - A cake
