Staff were all fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Locals great to talk too. Loved the ferry ride and our walk around the outer areas. Loved sitting on deck reading, bed was comfortable. 2 Kiwis travelling Adelaide.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. When I said I couldn’t stay in the small room we had booked because I felt claustrophobic, they immediately changed us to a much higher room at no extra cost. There was a water leak in the bathroom which we reported the next morning to the very helpful and friendly Nanette who also recommended a great place for us to have breakfast.

The condition of the room was dirty. Dirty marks on doors, carpets stained, wood work was blistered and veneer flaking off, mould in shower cubicle, when shower turned on it squirted was from wall joint, carpets edges had not been vacuumed, cupboard doors were coming off hinges, the mattress was stuffed (had collapsed - might as well slept on the floor), window had gap between it. no sanitary basket, condition of mirrors were marked, curtains had hems partly down, when you flushed the toilet it made a very loud noise like a siren going off, curtains should be block outs so that the outside lights (turned off at 2.10 am) don't shine into the room. No safe car parking. Anyone could wonder in off the street and check out the cars. Absolutely disgusting

Obviously its old, since the whole building was old. Everything worked well, nice and quiet, just a little "faded" and worn. Personally, it was part of the charm - it felt like a real old fashioned room.

Old style building out the back of the heritage pub. Room was good in being 2 bedroom but definitely could do with an update. Eg no door between master and communal bathroom, no power switches in master bedroom etc. overall a perfectly fine place to stay and checkin was a breeze at the pub. Right on Main Street walkable to everything.
