Overnight airport stay, excellent hotel we were lucky to be upgraded to newly refurbished rooms overlooking the Ria Formosa, luxury room, great breakfast options.

Great hotel. Whilst check-in was a little slow - staff were very professional and polite. The room and balcony were lovely. The hotel’s amenities - outdoor and indoor pool, sauna and rooftop deck were excellent. We had a massage and a facial - what a treat and very relaxing - highly recommend. Hotel’s location is also superb - views, view overlooking marina and easy walks into old town. Breakfast buffet was good and the pianists who played at breakfast, in reception and in the evening were an absolute joy. This hotel really did appeal to the senses.

We stayed in a standard double with a city view room for 2 nights. The room was spacious and had a nice view of the outside road. The breakfast area was large and a nice setting to enjoy a meal, as you looked over the water area in Faro. A very busy hotel whilst we were there (mid-September) but convenient location as Faro city itself does not contain too much to see, and the hotel is located close enough to explore the sites via walking.

Great central location on faro, right on the marina excellent. Hotel is small, lifts very small. Restaurant on top floor had amazing views of the marina and Rio Formosa breakfast was good plenty of choice. Great place for a couple of nights.

Beautiful hotel in good location

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room had lovely view of marina from the balcony. Breakfast was excellent in a lovely dining room or open air overlooking marina.

It’s a very conveniently located hotel for transit travellers, a minute walk to the bus and 3 minutes to the train stations.. it is also very close to all restaurants.. nice view from the 5th floor bar and breakfast restaurant.. very nice breakfast. Room is pretty large with a large balcony, it is well cleaned.. we were very happy with our hotel selection

The staff were very good. I paid extra for a marina-view room that I thought was good. The huge letdown was the roof-top pool. The poolside area was shabby beyond belief.

Miserable experience

From check in to check out, all staff seem disinterested and sullen. Guests were not much better. It’s a nice Hotel in prime position in Faro, but the overall experience was very negative. Most people ( staff and guests ) were far too much up themselves. Glad we only had one night there.

Good stay, large room but very noisy location.

Our suite was the biggest we've ever stayed in! However we were on the 1st floor and street side. SO NOISY that sleep was hard for me. There was noise until 5 or 6 a.m. The pool is large and on the rooftop but chairs are scarce and the water is freezing. The gym was great! Also, the staff were all very helpful
