## Space

Lemon Tree Apartment is a stylish, one-bedroom apartment tucked away in the backstreets of the friendly town of Luz.

This is a sleek one-bedroom apartment, and is decorated in a modern fashion. It offers an open plan kitchen and living room which catches lots of sunlight through the doors that lead to the outside area. Once you are outside, there is a quaint seating area with views out onto the ocean; perfect for soaking in the sun in the comfort of your own apartment.

The apartment does not go without it’s useful gadgets either. Lemon Tree offers Wifi and even a smart TV with an English version of Netflix! It also has a washing machine and a small storage room just outside the apartment.

The apartment has one-bedroom with a king-size bed. In addition to this, there are 2 folding footstools that can fit 2 smaller children if needed. This apartment has one shower room with a toilet and spacious walk-in shower.

## Neighborhood

Luz is a quaint little holiday getaway along the Algarvian coastline. Shops, bars and restaurants and a beautiful beach are right on your doorstep. Set amidst spectacular coastal scenery you can take your time to explore the stunning cliffs, undiscovered beaches, neighbouring quaint villages and the national park. It’s just a 15-minute drive to the regional capital, Lagos, if you want a bit more action.

The complex is a short walk from the supermarkt, bars, restaurants and other shops and only a 2 minute walk to the beautiful, child-friendly beach. Great for surfing and other watersports activities like diving, snorkeling and sailing. And near one of the many hiking trails down the cliffs.

Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.

## Transit

You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.

Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

You can park for free in Luz. Parking in front of the apartment is not always available in summer, but there will be plenty of space in the surrounding streets.

Appartement trĂšs bien placĂ©, proche plage, restaurants et commerces.Concernant l'appartement, Un point sur l'Ă©quipement de cet appartement qui est pour moi trop juste pour un sĂ©jour de deux semaines, et c'est dommage. Pas de changement de draps et de serviettes pendant notre sĂ©jour, pas de fer Ă  repasser, pas de parasol et de micron onde. Toutes ces prestations et Ă©quipements devraient ĂȘtre inclus dans le sĂ©jour.Pour le reste, c'est un appartement trĂšs bien fait pour un court sĂ©jour. Par ailleurs, un grand merci Ă  l'Ă©quipe Rental Valley de Lagos qui nous a bien aidĂ© avec notre problĂšme de clĂ©. "nous Ă©tions enfermĂ©s dehors" Équipe trĂšs efficace et disponible.

The area was very nice and location of the apartment was great.Not enough toiletries for a 4 night stay, shampoo, soap and no place in the bathroom to set items. I small shelf would help.The WiFi connection took three days to start working and several attempts to get it fixed.Better explanation of where the washer machine would be nice.

Algarve at its best

FĂŒr eine entspannten Urlaub in der Vorsaison ist Lemon tree sehr schön. Alles ist am Ort fusslĂ€ufig zu erreichen , die Fotos in der Anzeige entsprechen der Wirklichkeit. In der Hauptsaison ist gegenseitige RĂŒcksichtnahme der vielen Nachbarn sicher wichtig.

Smelly bathroom!

Every thing was a dream except that the bathroom smells terribly! The shower drain seems a bit clogged so the water doesn’t drain well too much humidity in the bathroom
Had to jack the ventilator on the sink! Otherwise the kitchen is superbly fit for good cooking!

We received all necessary information in time before our holidays and the check-in went well. The apartment is bright, cute, cosy and well equipped. It is located very central and the view to the sea is great. Of course, you're paying all amenities with the rate. We would definitely book it again.

I loved my one month stay. Ideal location and a great patio and view. Unit is modern, quiet and thrifty ikea furnished. Some items a little older and could use a spruce up but nothing that would diminish a good rating. Great communication and easy check-in. Excellent wi-fi. I would definitely rent again.

Beautiul place

The apartment is exactly as described. The view from the patio is lovely. The flowers and lemon tree are sweet. The kitchen had all amenities except a coffee maker. There is a lovely coffee shop just down the hill. We used the washing machine - very helpful to us as we are on a six week vacation. The bed is comfortable. The sliding doors front and back afford nice cross breeze. The fan was helpful on days it was hot. I loved the shower with rain head. It was a great experience in a beautiful location. The Algarve is stunning.

Beautiful view and beach

The good: Great location 2 mins away from a great large beach. The 2 small beds in the living room can unfold to single bed in case you wonder. Need to ask for bed sheets in advance for them. Great view from patio. Was very quiet to sleep but we were in low season. Beach feeling village. Not too busy in October, quaint little village with some very good restaurants very close to the condo. Driving distance to Portimão and the caves. Close to small grocery stores. Need improvement: No air condition, was 30-32c in October and we could have use a bit of cooling before going to bed (My mistake ). No microwave and when it’s 30-32c, you don’t feel like using stove nor oven (my mistake) . Next time I need to pay more attention to amenities as I though A/C and MW were standard
 Mattress in bedroom is very firm, too firm. Small fridge. Provide very minimum essentials compare to many others rentals.

VRBO in Praia da Luz Awesome!!

My wife and I booked our first VRBO in Praia da Luz Portugal, 10 nights end of May and into early June. For me to say we had a wonderful time would not come close to doing justice. I went to AAA and obtained an IDP or International Driving Permit. Driving into Luz everything seemed so quaint and clean. The key was in the lock-box by the door, so in we went. The apartment was small and charming and had everything we needed. Don’t forget to get your AC power converter’s for the wall sockets they use a different connection. Out to the terrace in front, the view of the other buildings against the ocean was spectacular. Off to the left at the end of the pristine beach is the huge black rock jutting out into the Atlantic. From our apartment within easy walking distance there where at least 10 delicious restaurants/bars with some right on the beach. There were 2 grocery stores, pharmacies and an awesome Homemade Ice Cream Factory. I taught myself how to make coffee with a French press out of necessity that turned out to be good and strong. I am a medical cannabis patient and I was able to bring my THC cookies, dry flower, vapes and paperwork without any questions or hassles going through customs in both directions. VRBO lived up to the hype, and our stay was an 11 on a scale of 10. Giving up Yankees baseball tough, but I could easily retire in Luz, Portugal. Best vacation I ever had, I can’t wait for our next to try and top it?

HĂŒbsches Appartement in Laufweite zu Strand und verschiedenen Restaurants

Es gibt eine kleine Terrasse, fĂŒr zwei Personen ist die Wohnung perfekt. Die KĂŒche ist gut ausgestattet. Man merkt, das die EigentĂŒmer regelmĂ€ĂŸig persönlich dort wohnen. Die Nachtbarschaft ist ruhig und freundlich. Die Agentur Rental Valley ist ansprechbar und jederzeit zu helfen bereit. Wir hatten Probleme mit dem TĂŒrschloss, das wurde schnell behoben. Wir danken fĂŒr schöne Tage an der Algarve und kommen gerne wieder.

Outstanding Location

We would highly recommend this property in Luz! The apartment was clean and spacious in a safe neighborhood. The landscaping was very beautiful. The best part was the water view from the private front porch. There is parking. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach with many great restaurants and coffee shops. Luz is a lovely city with very friendly people. We will be back!
