bel appartement avec belle vue

Lovely apartment but not suitable for young children.

My only criticism is that we could not go on to the balcony as the safety grid does not go all the way down, there is a gap large enough for a young child to climb through, which needs to be addressed.

Thank you for your comment. It is true that the parapets of the 2 balconies were delivered with horizontal bars and large gaps that could invite children to escalate the parapets and potentially fall from the balconies. As I was aware of this risk, I installed grids to prevent children from escalating the parapets. I did not imagine that someone would leave small children unattended on the balcony (as well as we expect that guests look after their children to prevent them for spoiling everything in the apartment), but, given this possibility, I changed the position of the grids and reduced the gap from 16 cm to 7,5 cm making it impossible for a small child to climb through. Please be aware that this does not prevent them from climbing on a chair to fall from the balcony above the parapets. We had ourselves 10 grandchildren spending vacations at various ages and a lot of others coming with guests, and believe me, with a minimum of care, this apartment is a perfect fit for babies and small children.
